Frequently asked questions
Pro Command program
How does Pro Command enrollment work?
There is no application. We enroll verified business customers in Pro Command automatically, in the tier their eligibility supports. We verify a business with an EIN that our team checked or an approved tax-exemption certificate. There is no cost and no spend minimum. Higher tiers are earned through purchasing activity or account needs — never paid for. Enrollment does not approve credit, NET terms or purchase orders. Each one has its own review.
How do payment terms work?
NET terms (NET 15–30 for Builder, NET 30–45 for Command) are subject to credit review. With terms you can start a job before the invoice is due; approval and final terms are set by Flooring Inc finance. Enrollment does not approve credit, NET terms or purchase orders. Each one has its own review. Larger orders can be paid by purchase order at checkout; we review the PO before the order ships. Purchase orders can be paid by credit card, wire transfer, or check.
What does the dedicated account manager do?
Your account manager knows your active jobs: they revise quotes, place inventory holds for Command accounts, coordinate freight and job-site delivery, pull submittal packages, and chase down anything that could slow a project.
How do I qualify for a higher tier?
Tiers are based on your trailing-12-month order count or spend — whichever you reach first. Our team can also approve a higher tier for project-based or multi-location accounts. We do not move you down a tier automatically.
How do inventory holds and dye-lot matching work?
Command members can reserve stock for active projects, subject to availability, and we will work to hold the same dye lot/batch across phases so your floor matches end to end.
Fitness & recreation
How thick should rubber flooring be for a weight room?
It depends on the zone. Cardio areas do well on 8mm rubber, free-weight areas on 3/8″ (the most common thickness in commercial gyms), Olympic lifting on 1/2″, and powerlifting on 3/4″. Your Pro Command rep will confirm the right spec against your equipment and drop heights before you order.
Can you match my gym's brand colors?
Yes — order free samples of color-fleck rubber and other surfaces to match your palette before you commit to a full floor.
How do you handle freight for heavy rubber rolls?
Rubber rolls are heavy and dock-sensitive. Your rep coordinates liftgate, limited-access, and job-site delivery, plans the freight window around your installer, and handles any damage claims.
Can I phase delivery across a multi-zone build?
Command members can use inventory holds and phased release so each zone's material arrives when crews are ready — without paying for everything up front. (Subject to availability.)
Do you offer terms for a new gym opening?
Qualifying members can purchase on NET 15–45 after a standard credit review, so you can floor the space before the invoice is due. Final terms are set by Flooring Inc finance.
Contractors & trades
Do you offer payment terms for contractors?
Qualifying members can buy on NET 15–45 after a standard credit review, so you can start a job before the invoice is due. Final terms are set by Flooring Inc finance.
Can you help with takeoffs and quotes?
Yes — saved projects, install calculators, and fast quote revisions help you bid quickly, and your rep can assist on larger or complex jobs.
Can I reorder the same material across jobs?
1-click reorder cloning lets you repeat a past order exactly — ideal for repeat specs and multi-location work.
How does jobsite delivery work?
Your rep coordinates liftgate, limited-access, and jobsite delivery around your install schedule, and handles freight claims if anything arrives damaged.
How do I reach a higher tier?
Tiers are based on trailing-12-month order count or spend — whichever you hit first. Crossing a threshold switches on the next tier's tools automatically.
Schools & education
Can we buy tax-exempt?
Yes — we set up tax-exempt purchasing for qualifying institutions so your POs process cleanly.
Can you deliver within our summer break?
Inventory holds, committed ship dates, and phased delivery are built to hit tight break windows — plan early with your rep for best results.*
Do your products have low-VOC / FloorScore certifications?
Many do — certifications vary by product, and your rep will provide the specific FloorScore / low-VOC and warranty documentation for the items you're speccing.
Do you support formal bids and POs?
Yes — formal quotes, purchase authorization, and submittal packages are designed to fit district procurement workflows.
What flooring is best for a school gym or weight room?
Rubber and sport surfaces are typical, with thickness matched to use — your rep will confirm the right spec for your equipment and activities.
Healthcare
Do you offer antimicrobial or seamless flooring?
Yes — we carry sheet vinyl and other options suited to clinical hygiene needs. Specific antimicrobial and seamless properties vary by product; your rep will confirm what fits your infection-control requirements.
Can you install without shutting down our facility?
We plan phased and off-hours delivery and use inventory holds so material arrives when your installer can work around operations.*
Do products carry FloorScore / low-VOC certification?
Many do — it varies by product. Your rep provides the exact emissions and warranty documentation for the items you spec.
Are surfaces slip-rated for wet areas?
We offer slip-rated options matched to each space and provide documentation for your safety and compliance review.
Do you offer terms for healthcare organizations?
Qualifying members can purchase on NET 15–45 after a standard credit review. Final terms are set by Flooring Inc finance.
Military & first responders
Do you support government purchasing?
We support PO-based and institutional buying with the documentation your procurement office requires. Note: if specific contract vehicles like a GSA Schedule are needed, confirm Flooring Inc's eligibility with your rep — we don't represent that here.
How durable are your rugged floor options?
We carry heavy-duty rubber, sealed surfaces, and coatings spec'd for the hardest-use areas — your rep will match the product to your traffic, equipment, and chemical exposure.
What flooring works in an apparatus or vehicle bay?
Chemical- and abrasion-resistant coatings and sealed surfaces are typical — confirm the right system for your bay conditions with your rep.
Can you spec a PT / training facility?
Yes — rubber, platforms, and turf matched to your equipment and drop loads, with samples to confirm before you buy.
Can you deliver to a base or remote station?
Your rep coordinates freight and delivery planning for secure, gated, or remote sites, including liftgate and limited-access delivery.
Commercial spaces
Can you handle a multi-location rollout?
Yes — 1-click reorder cloning, consistent specs, and consolidated invoicing keep multi-site rollouts on-brand and on-budget, with one rep across all locations.
Can you deliver after hours to avoid closing?
We plan after-hours and phased delivery and use inventory holds so material arrives when your installer can work around your hours.*
What flooring works for a warehouse or industrial space?
Polished concrete, epoxy, and sealed surfaces are common — your rep will match the system to your load, traffic, and chemical exposure.
Do you have slip-rated options for restaurants?
Yes — slip-rated surfaces and entryway systems matched to wet and high-traffic areas, with documentation for your safety review.
Do you offer payment terms for businesses?
Qualifying members can buy on NET 15–45 after a standard credit review. Final terms are set by Flooring Inc finance.
