Understanding Required Documentation

Public buyers often need proof of origin, air-quality labels, and product documents. This guide shows where to find each one on our site.

Key takeaways

  • Made in USA products are flagged on each listing
  • FloorScore, GreenGuard, and Green Label Plus are air-quality labels
  • Some product pages carry installation, maintenance, and warranty documents
  • Ask for the paperwork you need before you place the order
Find the document before the order, not after the audit.

Made in USA flags

Our Traxxon pages say most flagship Traxxon rubber rolls and tiles are made in the United States. We flag domestic production on each listing for buyers with Buy America, LEED, or government sourcing requirements. If a specific product is sourced differently, the listing says so. Our Made in USA page lists the products that carry this flag.

Our Traxxon brand page says the Traxxon mark goes only on commercial-grade rubber with warranty backing. Budget and lighter-duty rubber stays unbranded, so the logo always means the same thing.

Air-quality labels

LabelWhat our non-toxic flooring guide says
FloorScore®In-lab VOC testing that certifies flooring materials, underlayments, wall bases, and adhesives. Created by the RFCI with Scientific Certification Systems. Phthalates are not part of this certification.
GreenGuardPart of an indoor air quality certification program. Companies must have their products retested every year.
CRI Green Label PlusA 14-day test for carpet that covers 35 compounds from California Section 01350.
⚠️ A label applies to a specific product, not to a full category. Find the label on the product page before you write it into a spec.

Our guide also says that, at the federal level, the U.S. EPA regulates VOCs under 40 CFR 59. That rule is the national VOC emission standard for consumer and commercial products.

Documents on the product page

Some product pages carry documents and care sections. The Dura Lock Rubber Tiles page lists Specifications, an Installation Guide, and a Maintenance Guide, and it states a 5-year warranty. The Rubber Gym Rolls page has a Maintenance Guide and a Warranty section. It states a 5-year limited warranty on standard colors and a 25-year limited warranty on Biggie Smallz colors.

Order paperwork

Our commercial flooring page says procurement offices need clean paperwork and predictable compliance. Your rep handles the PO and tax-exempt paperwork. Send your tax-exempt certificate and your PO format with the request. Then the order documents match your records.
