Customer Favorite Foam Flooring
Types of Soft Foam Flooring
Interlocking Foam Tiles
Our interlocking tiles are durable enough for use in home gyms, playrooms, and more. They protect your joints and offer some extra temperature insulation, too.
They’re also incredibly easy to install. The interlocking edges easily press together for a secure fit.
Foam Mats
If you want something more portable, or you need to cover a smaller space, consider foam floor mats. These mats are often used for gymnastics, cheerleading, wrestling, and martial arts, so they’re built to handle wear and tear.
You can choose from folding mats, roll-out mats, or interlocking mats. No matter what you pick, it’s going to be durable and easy to install.
Foam Flooring Colors
The favorite part for most customers when it comes to shopping foam flooring is the variety of colors. You can choose from our classic colors like black, gray, and blue or more vibrant colors like pink, purple, and green.
And if you’re looking for something a little different, you can even find foam flooring with fun designs and ultra-realistic wood looks. Whether you’re looking for a pattern to match your decor or something to stand out, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for.
Where to Use Foam Flooring
Playroom Flooring
Foam flooring provides a space for your little one to practice tummy time, crawling, and more. The soft surface helps prevent bumps and bruises, and it’s simple to keep the play area clean.
To promote learning and fun, we offer ABC foam mats, number mats, and puzzle mats. Plus, all of our foam flooring is non-toxic and free of formaldehyde and formamide.
Foam Gym Mats
Foam flooring is popular for gyms because it’s soft, resilient, and affordable. It’s perfect for light bodyweight exercise and underneath gym equipment. Some foam flooring can even handle high-impact workouts.
The durability can vary, so make sure to do your research when choosing soft flooring for gyms and fitness.
For lighter workouts, we recommend our 1/2" Eco-Soft™ Tiles. If you want something that can handle heavy weights, choose our Premium HD Tiles.
Foam Trade Show Flooring
Foam floor tiles are perfect for trade shows. They’re light and portable, and the anti-fatigue design keeps you comfortable even after hours on your feet.
You can create a professional look with carpet top tiles, wood grain patterns, or a variety of colors that match your brand. When the show is over, it’s easy to pull up your floor, pack it away, and transport it without any hassle.
Wrestling and Martial Arts Mats
Martial arts and wrestling result in the need for high-impact flooring that can absorb the shock and protect you as you train and compete. We offer thick, high-impact foam that will cushion the blows and keep you on top of your game.
When you’re sparring, you tend to work up a sweat. One of the great things about foam flooring is that it’s easy to keep clean. Some wrestling mats and landing mats even feature vinyl casings that ensure easy sanitizing.
How to Install Foam Tiles
Installation is easy! Just follow these simple steps:
- Clean your subfloor so it is free of all dirt, grease, or debris.
- Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile. Add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls. Add center, corner, and border tiles where needed.
- If you cut the tiles to fit your space, leave a gap that’s roughly the thickness of the tiles being used to account for expansion and contraction.
Note: You don’t typically need adhesive, since the weight of the flooring usually prevents shifting and instability. However, if you want to increase stability and avoid potential shifting, use some double-sided tape around the perimeter.
How to Clean Foam Flooring
Foam is easy to clean and maintain. This flooring option is made of durable, closed cell EVA foam which means liquids cannot penetrate the surface.
If you spill something on them or they appear dirty, just wipe down the surface with a damp cloth and it will look like new.
Foam is vulnerable to puncturing, so to ensure it keeps looking great, avoid sharp edges, pet nails, and high heels on the surface.
Foam Flooring Reviews
7/8" Tatami Tiles
“I bought these with the thought of covering a few areas for exercise and general purpose. They worked so well, I decided to cover the entire floor with them for my wife's workout room. They are very comfortable, have a good amount of grip with shoes or barefoot. If I ever need more flooring like this, I will definitely get more!”
1/2" Eco-Soft +™ Tiles
“We purchased the 1/2" Eco-Soft +™ Tiles for our home gym and LOVE IT! The installation was extremely easy and the finished look is phenomenal! Just enough cushion for a great feel.
This room is 390 sq. ft.; the price was great for a professional look!”
5/8" Premium Soft Wood Tiles
“We used these tiles for our flooring at a recent exhibition. They look very professional, and a lot of people thought they were real wood floors before standing on them. They are extremely comfortable to stand on, which is very important when you are on your feet for 8 hours each day.
We were also impressed with how they were able to withstand some pretty heavy furniture. We give them a big thumbs up!”
