Send the right material to the right building at the right time.
One plan for every building
A material delay in one building can stall every trade on the schedule behind it. Start with one shared plan that every site team can read.
- Building: the name and delivery address of each site.
- Rooms: each room, its floor type, and its square footage.
- Dates: the install window for each building.
- Contact: one person at each site who receives deliveries.
- Access: whether the site has a loading dock or a forklift, or needs lift-gate delivery.
On our side, our commercial team handles samples, specs, logistics, and the paperwork side of the order.
Stage the deliveries
Do not send all the material to one dock on day one. It can block the site, sit in the wrong place, and get moved twice before installation.
We can stage deliveries across multiple truckloads, synced to the project schedule. For days when a site cannot receive, we can stage material in the warehouse. We also route orders from the location closest to the jobsite, which usually lowers freight cost and transit time.
Quick Ship Pre-Cut rubber rolls ship from the closest of six regional warehouses, based on the shipping ZIP. Two buildings in different states can see different shipping totals on the same roll. Expect a separate freight quote for each site.
Share your building schedule and we will plan a delivery for each site.
Receive each delivery
Multi-roll and pallet orders ship by LTL freight. Standard delivery is curbside, so plan to have help on site to move items inside. Commercial sites usually have a forklift or a loading dock. Lift-gate delivery is an option at checkout.
- Watch for the tracking notice by email or text.
- Call the carrier on the notice to book a delivery window.
- Count the boxes against the receipt.
- Take photos of the delivery and of any damaged boxes.
- Write any damage or shortage on the proof of delivery before you sign it.
