Choose the floor once. Then repeat it at every site.
Set one spec before the first site
A rollout goes better when every site orders the same product. Choose the product, the size and the color once, and test them before the first order. Our commercial sample program lets a facility manager or architect check a product before a large order. Then write the product details into a checklist for each site.
Plan each site as its own order
- Measure: make a list of the rooms and the square footage at each site.
- Match: use the same product name, size and color on every order.
- Check lead time: select the color and size on the product page to see the lead time.
- Confirm color: order samples, and look at them in the light of each site.
A confirmed color before a pallet ships means that you do not pay LTL freight twice to fix a mismatch.
Ship each site from the closest stock
We work with our manufacturing partners to know what they have in stock at each facility. We then route the order from the location closest to the jobsite. That usually means a lower freight cost and a faster transit time. Our Quick Ship rubber rolls are stocked at six warehouses in four U.S. regions.
Selection is not the same in every region. On our rubber roll pages, Shipping Saver shows the colors stocked closest to a ZIP code. The West stocks the widest selection, and the Southeast stocks a narrower one. For a rollout, check the ZIP code of each site before you lock the color.
Send us the site list. We will help you plan one spec and the shipping for each address.
Keep one contact for the rollout
A rollout has many orders, so one point of contact helps. Our commercial team handles samples, specs, logistics and paperwork for commercial buyers. If a date moves at one site, call the rep. A contact form often gets the answer a day too late. When you add a new site to the rollout, ask the rep for samples first. Give each site the same product checklist, so every order matches.
