Living.Fit Reviews: How Their Rubber Gym Flooring Compares to FlooringInc

Is Living.Fit worth buying rubber flooring from instead of FlooringInc? We get asked that a lot lately, mostly because of one ranking.
Living.Fit is a Texas-based online fitness retailer, founded in 2018 by the team behind Kettlebell Kings, that sells USA-made rubber flooring rolls, resistance bands and other gym gear. Its flooring line is a single rubber roll product in five thicknesses, 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch, with a 5-year warranty. If you searched for Living.Fit reviews because you are cross-shopping them against us, here is the honest breakdown: what they do well, where the numbers land, and the one thing about that ranking you should know before you buy.
We sell rubber flooring. They sell rubber flooring. So take this for what it is, a comparison written by a competitor, and check every number yourself. Every figure here was verified on September 15, 2026, and every source is listed at the bottom.
Living.Fit reviews: the short version
Living.Fit sells one rubber flooring roll product. It is USA-made, their own-site reviews look good, and their color selection on that roll is in the same range as ours. If one product to consider is all you want, they are a fine place to land, and we are not going to talk you out of it. If you would rather have your pick of every thickness, gauge and price point on the market, that is what we are for.
The differences that matter are depth and durability. FlooringInc carries twelve lines of rubber flooring rolls to their one, 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch on a single line, plus a 25-year warranty tier. Our 95,354 independent reviews are 1,631 on Trustpilot and 93,723 on Shopper Approved. Living.Fit has 3, all on Trustpilot.
Reviews: where the trust signals actually sit
This is the biggest gap between the two companies, and it is the one that is hardest to fake.

Living.Fit displays 167 reviews at 4.9 stars on their own rubber flooring roll page. Those are hosted on their own website, which means the company controls which ones appear. That is common practice and not by itself a red flag, but it is a different kind of evidence from an independent platform.
Ours work the other way around, at both levels. Our store reviews and the product reviews on every product page are collected and published by independent review platforms that survey verified buyers after they order. We do not write them, we do not host them, and we do not decide which ones appear. Compare that with the 167 on their roll page, which sit on their own website.
On Trustpilot, where the seller does not control the queue, Living.Fit has three reviews. We have 1,631, and we reply to the bad ones in public. Read our one-star reviews and see how we handled them. Across all platforms, store and product level, FlooringInc has collected more than 125,000 customer reviews since 2007.
A rating built on three reviews and a rating built on 95,354 are not the same kind of evidence, even when the star numbers look similar.
Selection: twelve roll lines against one
Living.Fit rubber flooring rolls come in a single product line, five thicknesses from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch, in a 4-foot width cut to your length. That is the whole flooring catalog.
Here is ours: twelve lines of rubber flooring rolls, what each is built for, and what it costs.
| Roll line | Thickness | Price / sq ft | What it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rubber Gym Rolls | 1/8" to 3/4" | $0.99 | The widest choice we make: every thickness and 28 colors in one line |
| Next Day Rubber Rolls | 1/8" to 1/2" | $1.19 | When the floor cannot wait. Order by noon Eastern, ships same or next business day |
| 8mm Strong Rubber Rolls | 8mm | $1.41 | The tried and true do-it-all for a home or commercial gym |
| 8mm Strong Designer Series | 8mm | $2.85 | The same floor in 13 designer colorways, for a gym people see |
| 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls | 3/8" | $1.58 | Commercial gyms and weight rooms |
| 1/2" Mega Rubber Rolls | 1/2" | $2.07 | CrossFit, Olympic lifting, barbells that get dropped |
| 3/4" Olympian Rubber Rolls | 3/4" | $3.25 | The heaviest drops, plus horse stalls and dog kennels |
| 1/4" Tough Rubber Rolls | 1/4" | $1.15 | Light home gyms, exercise rooms, play rooms, locker rooms |
| NextGen XL Rubber Rolls Pro Series | 1/4" to 1/2" | $1.65 | The original true 5-foot-wide roll: fewer seams, faster install |
| Budget Rubber Rolls | 1/8" to 3/8" | $0.79 | The lowest cost per square foot in the lineup |
| Eco-Flec Rolls | 1/8" to 1/2" | $0.99 | Vulcanized tire rubber for underlayment, walkways and shock absorption |
| Regrind Rolls | 1/4" to 1/2" | $1.24 | Post-industrial recycled rubber at the heavier gauges for less |
Prices and thickness ranges above were checked on September 15, 2026.
The 8mm Strong is the one that has ended up in the most rooms, including the gym on The Biggest Loser. A garage gym, a basement and a horse stall each want a different thickness, though, and one line cannot cover all three. If you are shopping rubber gym flooring rolls for one specific room, you need one specific floor.
Pre-cut, and what ships when
Most of that lineup carries our Traxxon mark. Traxxon goes on our most durable rolled rubber flooring only: rolls, tiles and mats built for heavy long-term use. Budget rubber does not get it, on purpose.
Pre-cut is the other way to buy one of these, and it is where the gap widens. Living.Fit stocks a single pre-cut size, 4 feet by 25, in three thicknesses. Every roll above can be custom cut to your length the way theirs are, and we additionally stock pre-cut rolls in fixed lengths, 4 feet wide and anywhere from 10 feet to 100 depending on the line: 1/8" PowerGrip, 1/4" Tough, 8mm Strong, 3/8" Heavy Duty and 1/2" Mega.
These sit in stock at six regional warehouses across four US regions and ship from whichever one is closest to you. 8mm Pre-Cut Strong ships in one to three business days, the rest in three to five.
Counting colors like for like
On color, count both sides the same way. Living.Fit lists 26 colorways on their roll, most of them one base colorway at two fleck densities: Grey 10% and Grey 20%, Blue 10% and Blue 20%, Cocoa 10% and Cocoa 20%. We name ours the same way, so counted like for like, Rubber Gym Rolls alone carries 28 across its six thicknesses, including eight Biggie Smallz colorways. Product for product that is a wash. The gap opens across the other eleven lines.
Warranty: the part people find out about in year six
The Living.Fit warranty on its rubber flooring rolls runs 5 years.
FlooringInc rubber rolls carry a 5-year warranty on 1/4 inch and thicker, and a 25-year warranty on Biggie Smallz colors. If you are putting a floor down under heavy weights and expecting it to outlast the equipment, that is a real difference.
A warranty is only as good as the company still around to honor it in year twenty. So how long has each of us actually been doing this?
How long has each company been in business?
Living.Fit was founded in 2018 by the team behind Kettlebell Kings, which they acquired in 2021. Eight years.
We have been selling flooring since 2007, over 18 years. Most of that ran as RubberFlooringInc, and in May 2026 we brought it under the FlooringInc roof as Traxxon. Same company, same products, same warranties, same team.
Those floors went on HGTV, the DIY Network, the Style Network and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and onto the Mr. Olympia stage, where we supplied the rubber flooring and matting starting in 2012.
We stock our own Tennessee warehouse and ship from regional warehouses and manufacturing facilities around the country, so your floor leaves from whichever one is closest. Our customer service team is US-based. When you file a warranty claim in 2038, someone needs to still be there to read it.
Rubber gym flooring rolls, head to head
FlooringInc Rubber Gym Rolls cost $0.99 per square foot in six thicknesses from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch, 28 colors, with a 5-year warranty and a 25-year tier on Biggie Smallz. Living.Fit Rubber Flooring Rolls cost $1.10 per square foot in five thicknesses from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch, 26 colors, 5-year warranty. Both are USA-made, 4 feet wide, custom cut, with 30-day returns.

One note on shipping, because it is where most of the real money hides on a freight product. Rubber is heavy, and the shipping line can rival the flooring line. Our product pages show your delivered cost before you check out, and a tool we call Shipping Saver shows you which colors are stocked closest to your zip code. Most FlooringInc customers who order a nearby-warehouse color save 20 to 40 percent on shipping and get the floor down 3 to 5 days sooner. It runs on our custom-cut rubber roll pages, including Rubber Gym Rolls and Budget Rubber Rolls. Compare delivered totals, not square-foot prices.
About that Garage Gym Reviews ranking
Living.Fit leads their product page with "Named Best Home Gym Flooring Overall by Garage Gym Reviews." That is accurate as of today. Here is the fuller history, straight from the Internet Archive.

- March 2024: Garage Gym Reviews' home gym flooring guide listed our products first and gave us three awards: Best Rubber Gym Flooring Rolls, Best Artificial Turf for Gyms, and Best Vinyl Gym Flooring. Living.Fit held one, for mats. There was no "Best Overall" category.
- June 2025: Our 8mm Strong Rubber Rolls held Best Home Gym Flooring Overall. The guide's own text read "our pick for the best overall home gym flooring, the Flooring Inc 8mm Rubber Rolls." We also still held the turf and vinyl awards.
- February 13, 2026: The guide was republished as a new article under a new byline. Living.Fit's rolls took Best Home Gym Flooring Overall. Ours moved down to the Best Home Gym Flooring Rolls sub-category, which we still hold. Our turf award disappeared along with the product. Our vinyl award disappeared too. The guide went from ten picks to seven.
So what changed between June 2025 and February 2026? Not the product. Our 8mm Strong Rubber Rolls are the same floor at the same or better price.
Here is what did change, and both numbers are public.
Living.Fit's published affiliate rate is 10 percent. FlooringInc's is 5 percent. Their own affiliate page states it plainly: "Affiliates can earn 10% on equipment sales on thousands of products."
Garage Gym Reviews' outbound product links route through their own affiliate redirects, for us and for Living.Fit alike, so every sale either brand gets from that guide pays a commission. On a $900 flooring order, 10 percent is $90 and 5 percent is $45.
We notice that the "best overall" pick moved to the brand paying double the commission, on a page where every click is monetized, and the products did not change. We have given you the archived editions and both published commission rates. Check the dates yourself.
One more thing worth knowing: they are reviewing our second-best roll. The product in that guide is our 8mm Strong. Our highest-volume rubber roll is Rubber Gym Rolls, which is cheaper, ships sooner, and comes in six thicknesses instead of five. We have asked Garage Gym Reviews to evaluate it against Living.Fit's rolls. We have not received a response.
We would welcome that test. Until someone runs it, compare the specs yourself.
So is Living.Fit worth buying from?
Here is our Living.Fit gym flooring review in one line: a solid single product, without the depth or the independent proof to match ours.
If you want one straightforward USA-made rubber roll and you would rather not read through twelve product lines to pick it, they are a legitimate choice and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
Want a specific thickness for a specific use, a warranty that runs 25 years instead of 5, and delivered pricing you can see before checkout? We can back that up with 95,354 independent reviews and 18 years in business.
Order a sample from both. Rubber is a product you should touch before you commit to 500 square feet of it.

Living.Fit rubber flooring rolls are $1.10 per square foot as of September 15, 2026. FlooringInc Rubber Gym Rolls start at $0.99 and Budget Rubber Rolls at $0.79. On a freight product, compare delivered cost rather than square-foot price.
How fast does Living.Fit ship?

Why did Garage Gym Reviews rank Living.Fit above FlooringInc?
Their guide named our 8mm Strong Rubber Rolls Best Home Gym Flooring Overall through the June 2025 edition. In a February 13, 2026 rewrite the overall pick changed to Living.Fit. The products did not change. Living.Fit's published affiliate rate is 10 percent and ours is 5 percent, and that guide's product links are affiliate links. We still hold Best Home Gym Flooring Rolls in the same guide. We have asked them to evaluate our highest-volume roll instead and have not received a response.
Does Living.Fit pay affiliates more than FlooringInc?
Yes. Living.Fit's affiliate page states affiliates "can earn 10% on equipment sales on thousands of products." FlooringInc's affiliate program pays 5 percent. Both figures are published by the companies themselves.
What is Traxxon rubber flooring?
Traxxon is FlooringInc's mark for its most durable rubber flooring: rolls, tiles and mats built for heavy long-term use. It is the line sold as RubberFlooringInc for over 18 years, brought under FlooringInc in May 2026. Lighter-duty and budget rubber is not branded Traxxon.
Does rubber gym flooring smell?
New rubber flooring has a distinct odor that fades over the first few weeks. That is true of Living.Fit rubber flooring rolls and FlooringInc rubber rolls alike, because both are made from recycled rubber. Ventilate the room while it breaks in.
How does Living.Fit compare to FlooringInc?
FlooringInc is ahead on selection, and it is not close: twelve lines of rubber flooring rolls against their one, in thicknesses from 1/8 inch to 3/4 inch, plus five pre-cut lines they have no real answer to. FlooringInc is also ahead on price per square foot, warranty length, review volume and years in business, and ships from six regional warehouses so the roll travels a shorter distance to you, which is where delivered cost on a freight product is won or lost. We shop competitors' delivered pricing regularly, and on average our shipping comes in lower. On roll width, returns, USA manufacturing and color count on the flagship roll, the two are comparable.
