Quick Notes:
• Confetti and Natural colors are made from post-industrial recycled rubber, so some color and shade variation is natural and expected. Confetti blends may skew toward neutral tones like grays depending on the production run.
• Your order may include a few extra inches of material. This is intentional — it accounts for cutting tolerances and natural expansion, so your roll or mat is never undersized.
• Orders totaling over 1,000 sq. ft. may require additional processing time before shipping.

Installation
When installing rolled rubber flooring, it is important to choose the right installation method for your project. The most common methods of adhering rubber rolls to the subfloor are:
A: Double-Sided Tape Installation
- Ensure that the subfloor is clean, dry, and free of any debris.
- Loosely lay the rubber rolls in the room to achieve your desired layout. Allow the rolls to relax for 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Cut the rubber rolls to fit the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. Leave a gap around the perimeter roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rubber rolls at one end of the room. Apply double-sided tape to the subfloor along the perimeter of each roll.
- Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.
B: Glue Installation
- Ensure that the subfloor is clean, dry, and free of any debris or moisture.
Spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10 feet long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10 feet at a time.
- Repeat step 5 for every 10 feet of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
- After all of the rolls have been glued down, it is recommended to use a 100-pound roller on the floor to guarantee good adherence to the subfloor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps may also work.
Care & Maintenance
- Sweep or vacuum loose debris regularly to prevent buildup and minimize the risk of slips and falls.
- For a deeper clean, simply damp mop the rubber rolls with a mild soap and water solution. We recommend using Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
- Do not use any solvent or oil-based cleaners like Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy's Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, or similar products. These cleaners can break down the flooring over time and cause damage.

Customer Questions & Answers
6 questions
What is the difference between Budget Rubber Rolls and your standard rubber rolls?
Price. Budget Rubber Rolls use the same recycled rubber and the same non-slip surface as our standard gym rolls. They are made in the USA and carry the same 5-year limited warranty. The trade-off is lead time. Every roll is cut to order, so expect 5 to 10 business days. If you need a floor this week, one of our quick-ship rolls is the better pick.
Was this helpful?Which thickness should I pick?
Match the thickness to the load. 1/8" is for light-duty anti-slip and sound control, not weight training. 1/4" suits a basic home gym. 8mm works for home and light commercial gyms. 3/8" is the most popular thickness for commercial gyms and heavy equipment. 1/2" and 3/4" are there for heavier drops. Every thickness is a 4-foot-wide roll cut to your length.
Was this helpful? What lengths can I order?
Rolls are 4 feet wide and sold by the linear foot, so each foot covers 4 square feet. The minimum cut is 15 linear feet for most thicknesses, or 10 linear feet for 1/8". The longest single roll is 120 feet in 1/8" and 1/4". It is 100 feet in 8mm, 3/8" and 1/2", and 50 feet in 3/4". Anything longer ships as more than one roll.
Was this helpful?Do Budget Rubber Rolls need to be glued down?
No. You can lay them loose or hold them with double-sided tape around the perimeter of each roll. Polyurethane adhesive is for permanent installs. Lay the rolls out and let them relax for 24 to 48 hours first. Cut with a straight edge and a fresh utility knife blade. Leave a gap around the room about as wide as the roll is thick. If you glue, roll the floor with a 100-pound roller for a good bond.
