Installation
- First, clean your subfloor so it is free of all dust, dirt, and debris.
- Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for 24-48 hours to ensure the proper installation of your new flooring.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Apply double-sided tape to the floor along the perimeter of each roll.
- Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.
- First, clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, and debris. Also, when gluing your flooring down, it is recommended that the subfloor is free of any moisture.
- Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for 24-48 hours to ensure the proper installation of your new flooring.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10’ long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10’ at a time.
- Repeat this step for every 10’ of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
- After all of the rolls have been glued down, it is often recommended to use a 100-pound roller on the floor to guarantee good adherence to the subfloor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps may also work.

Could the 1/2" or 3/8" be used in a garage to park cars on and can it take chemicals (oil)?
You can park a car on our 1/2" and 3/8" rubber rolls, but if your car leaks oil, the roll will start to break down over time. Most other vehicle chemicals will not affect the flooring in this manner.

Our 1/2" Mega Rubber Rolls can be used outdoors. Some fading may occur in direct sunlight, but the floor itself will stand up to the elements.
Was this helpful?I want to install these in my daughters indoor play area but was wondering if these mats pose any sort of health hazard. Is it safe to have my daughter in close proximity of these mats for several hours a day given the chemicals they contain?

The rubber flooring is cleaned thoroughly to ensure that any dirt, debris, and chemicals are properly removed before making our rubber flooring. Was this helpful?Is the top of this flooring smooth? We are using for a home gym, but my daughter will also practice her ballet on it, so she needs to be able to spin.
Our 1/2" Mega Rubber Rolls are smooth on the top and bottom of the rolls. Our rubber flooring is not the proper floor for practicing ballet. For ballet, you will need a certain amount of slip, and rubber flooring is known as one of the best non-slip floors on the market. If you wanted a great multiuse floor that is great for working out on and for ballet, we recommend purchasing our Impact Rolls - Wood Series. This floor combines the properties of a rubber floor with a vinyl top that will allow for the proper amount of slip needed for practicing ballet.

Purchased these for my revamped garage gym. Excellent quality and perfect for my particular use case. The width of the 3 rolls were cut perfectly per my order and the measurements that I provided to the representative. Unfortunately length wise they were not cut to what I had specified. Spent an inordinate amount of time trying to cut the 3 rolls of rubber evenly. Even with that being said, the quality is excellent. No offensive odor present. My garage gym looks great and the rubber flooring absorbs the impact from the dumbbells and barbells. Footing is secure compared to the underlying concrete. Assistance from the sales representative was outstanding. I will purchase from this company again in the future.

Great product but not evenly cut or cut to the length I requested. Created a lot more work I wasn’t planning on.
