Installation
- First, clean your subfloor, so it is free of all dirt, grease, or debris.
- Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile and add borders tiles outward along the adjacent walls. Add center, corner, and border tiles where you see fit.
- After the field is covered, go back and cut in tiles along the opposite walls in the room. It is recommended to leave a gap along the wall roughly the thickness of the tiles being used to account for expansion and contraction of the floor in varied temperature ranges.
Care & Maintenance
- Vacuum any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the flooring surface as needed.
- Occasionally, use a damp mop with a mild soap and water solution. We recommend using Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.

I like the thin size but am concerned that they might curl at the edges. Do I have a legitimate concern here? What is the benefit of the 8mm tile, longer warranty? Or why would it a better or worse choice?
Our 3/8" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles will not curl at the edges. That is the same with all of our rubber tiles. So there is no concern there with that. So why one would choose a 3/8" rubber over an 8mm rubber is due to what they are doing in the gym. If you are using some heavier weights, our 3/8" rubber products will perform better in the long run. When dropping weights, over time, the subfloor can get damaged due to the constant dropping of heavy weights. The thinner the rubber, the sooner this can happen. So if you are going to be dropping weights over 50 lbs on a consistent basis, we would suggest going with our 3/8" rubber tiles and rolls. If not, a thinner rubber is totally fine. The warranty for most of our rubber flooring is 5 years.
Was this helpful?Are these safe to install over a marble floor? Will they slide or leave markings on the White Marble?
Our 3/8" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles are safe to install over a marble floor. They will not slide on the floor and leave marks. If you are concerned that the rubber will damage your marble floor, we recommend placing a plastic sheet under the tiles. The weight of the tiles on top of the plastic sheet will keep it in place ensuring no movement.

Was this helpful?The ⅜" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles appear to come with no corner or edge pieces. Rather, they seem to come only as interlocking pieces or straight pieces. Is this correct?
Yes, our 3/8" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles don't come as corner or border tiles. To create a corner or border piece with our interlocking tiles, you would need to cut the tabs off the tiles to create them. For the straight-edged version, you can just cut the tiles in place to fit your room. Cutting our rubber tiles is very easy with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge.

I put these 1/2 inch ones over the basement concrete floor to make a weight lifting exercise room. They snap together snugly and they do not move at all and no glues needed. Even just a single tile was not sliding and so when you put them together they simply do not budge. Cutting the 1/2 tiles to fit when needed is a bit of a challenge, but that's actually good because you know they are tough. My only problem was they had a lot of crumbly bits near where the puzzle edges were cut, so I had to clean that off so they would fit together easier. They were all over the place and I needed to sweep and vacuum a few times to get them all.

Product is great. Easy to install. Fits together well and looks like one big piece. Just make sure when you are ordering if you speak to a salesperson you get edges if needed. We were going to go online but wanted to make sure we got the right quantity. We mentioned that we needed edge pieces to the salesperson but he didn’t order them. We had to cut off the side to make a straight line which was kind of a pain but overall has same end result.

This product is perfect for our home gym. We recently bought a newly built home and decided that we would turn our upstairs guest suite into our home gym. We researched everything that was needed to reinforce the flooring to support the weight of our water rower, treadmill, bench/squat rack, pull up stand, plates and dumbbells. After pulling out the builders carpet and padding I reinforced the flooring with additional plywood. (Wood cost at the moment is outrageous but it is what it is) I then installed the Rubber tiles myself after watching the tutorial video and remembering to "measure twice, cut once". The flooring came out great and the rubber floor ramps were installed at all 3 door thresholds in the guest suite. I will be sending a photo of the completed work to show how well it turned out!
