- These resilient interlocking floor tiles are made from recycled SBR rubber and high-colored virgin rubber. Each tile measures 23" x 23" (interlocked size: 23" x 23") and is approximately 8 mm (5/16") thick. Each gym tile weighs about 8 pounds.

Installation
- Start by thoroughly cleaning your subfloor to remove any dirt, grease, or debris.
- Using a chalk line, mark a pair of perpendicular lines on the subfloor that are 24 inches away from adjacent walls to create a 90-degree angle.
- Begin laying the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping the locks together as you go.
- Leave the perimeter of the room open until the field is installed.
- After the field is covered, go back and cut in lines along the walls in the room, leaving a gap roughly the thickness of tiles being used to account for expansion and contraction of the tiles in varied temperature ranges.
Care & Maintenance
- Vacuum or sweep regularly to remove loose dirt and debris from the surface.
- For a deeper clean, damp mop with a solution of mild soap and water. We recommend using Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
- Avoid using solvent or oil-based cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, or paint thinner as they can break down the flooring over time.

I have newly installed carpet and am looking to protect it from indentations from a stationary bike and treadmill? Any experience on this and will it be stable?
Our 8mm Strong Rubber Tiles - Designers Series have been used as a custom mats under treadmills and stationary bikes and will keep them from indenting your carpet. If the carpet is a low pile or medium pile carpet, stability will not be an issue.
Was this helpful?We have a basement that sometimes leaks in water when it rains heavily--usually when our gutters are full of leaves and debris. We've had to rip up our carpet down there and I'm looking for a convenient solution other than replacing the carpet. Would these tiles be able to withstand some water and are they easily removed to dry out and put back down?
Our 8mm Strong Rubber Tiles - Designer Series are a great solution for your basement issues. Since these tiles are interlocking, if your basement were to flood you can easily remove the tiles and let them dry. Once dried and cleaned, you can then easily place them back in the basement. Also, if you start to see the basement flood, you can start to move the tiles before they all get wet saving you some time cleaning.

Was this helpful?Can I use it in a residential garage that will double as a workout room. We will be parking a car on it also.
Our 8mm Strong Rubber Tiles - Designer Series can be installed in a garage. If a car is parked over them, you would have to make sure no oil from the car gets on the flooring surface. Oil from the car can cause the floor to break down. Our rubber tiles are not the best product for this application due to separation that can occur when a car turns it wheels on the floor, but can still be used for this dual purpose. We do have these same colors in a roll format that will work better and we do also offer softer PVC tiles that will better handle the oils from the car and tires. Those tiles are part of our Flex Tile series.

Excellent consistent quality. The project called for 37 squares, based on the on-line calculator plus a planned additional couple for potential future replacements...the original order was for 39. Post -ordering I was contacted by the company indicating that the minimum order was 50. I paid for the extra....The project only needed 29. The room looks great. I'll be using the remaining 21 and additional remnants for another area..... The product is great with minimal visibility of the interlocking between the tiles. Just wish it could have been clear on the website what the minimum quantity is....still can't find that disclosure.

These tiles are exactly as advertised. I read reviews from other customers, watched your videos and found as I expected the installation very easily done with a metal straight edge and a utility knife. The tiles fit together very well and as another customer found, curling a tile a bit or inserting one 'ear' then the other sometimes helped even more when the fit was tight. But I _want_ a tight fit to keep spills or dirt out. Even though it feels hard to the touch, the tiles do 'give' a bit making a noticeable difference when walking/standing on them. The traction they provide is another positive; no slipping or sliding of me or rugs. I am very pleased with the Mocha Latte coloring of my tiles. The minor odor did dissipate quickly and I am happy to be using recycled tires as flooring in my very 'green' new home. So pleased that I learned about your product before making a different and compromising choice. These tiles are tough and beautifully perfect flooring for my entire home. Thank you!

These tiles are great. We chose the tan color for our exercise room in the basement. The light color doesn't make the room look dark. They are very durable and have a low profile. No worry about catching a toe. our only negative is how they are shipped. We needed 55 tiles and they weighed 400lbs.. They were all packed in one carton. Too heavy for the average home owner. Our contractor had to pick them up in his truck. His employees had to unpack them a few tiles at a time and bring them into the house.
