Carpet Tile squares do not require special equipment or cleaning products. Maintaining your carpet tiles is as easy as follows:
  • To keep your rooms clean and inviting, carpet tiles should be vacuumed frequently.
  • Spills should be removed immediately with an absorbent cotton cloth and clean water. You can also easily remove the floor carpet tile, clean individual tile and replace it.
  • Periodic maintenance can be performed as needed using a hot water extraction-cleaning machine (i.e. carpet cleaner). Carpet tiles have a backing that prevents water from penetrating or harming the tiles.

We need to replace carpet in the bedrooms, hallway and stairs. Does this come with a pad? Does this go over the existing pad or should this be removed? Can this be used on stairs? Thanks ahead for answering.
This carpet does not not come with a pad. We would recommend removing your current pad and installing directly over the subfloor for the best results. Yes, these can be used on stairs.
I am hoping to use the Floorigami carpet planks as stair tread on hardwood stairs. Will they ruin my hardwood?

According to the manufacturer, these tiles are safe to use on any hard surface and will not leave residue.
