Outdoor Rubber

Natural pavers, while beautiful, are a pain in the butt. First off, they are hard all around, so if you have sensitive feet - forget about it. In the summer, they can get so hot you think you are standing on the surface of the sun! And don’t let them get wet... Did someone say “Disney on Ice?” Minus the fun, the fact that you aren’t getting paid for your gliding skills, and you’ll still likely have an audience but they will be your neighbors watching you fall on your butt.

Outdoor rubber is the perfect solution for all of these issues (unless you want to be the star in your own ice skating show). Not only can you get the great looks that natural stone provides, but you don’t get any of the pitfalls. Outdoor rubber tiles stay cooler than concrete in direct sunlight, and are also comfortable under foot. And if the tiles do get too hot underfoot, go ahead and soak them. Rubber is more slip resistant when wet!

Outdoor Rubber Pavers

We offer a wide range of rubber pavers from cobblestone to dog bone and everything in between. These pavers come in many different sizes and thicknesses and are very easy to install. People typically use our rubber pavers for outdoor patios, around pools, in horse stables and in driveways. These products are made of recycled rubber, making them very eco-friendly. So, no more blowing up mountains for natural stone pavers! Rubber pavers are cooler, too, than concrete in direct sunlight and are even resistant to mold and mildew.

Outdoor Rubber Paver Installation

Rubber pavers are easy to install. When putting rubber pavers over an existing concrete patio, you will need to make sure the concrete is clean of all dirt and debris. Once clean, you will need to apply a thin layer of polyurethane adhesive. Once the glue has cured, you can begin laying the tiles right into place. We recommend using a rubber mallet to ensure a tight bond and keep the pavers nice and snug with adjacent pavers .

When installing rubber pavers directly over dirt, you will want to first place a weed barrier underneath where the flooring will go. Next, you will start laying the rubber pavers, being sure to glue the seams of each tile together. We recommend using a polyurethane seam sealer adhesive and, once again, you will want to use a rubber mallet for proper adhesion.

Outdoor Rubber Paver Maintenance

Maintenance of rubber pavers is super simple. All you need is a garden hose and a broom and ‘voila!’ your outdoor patio looks like new.

Outdoor Rubber Deck Tiles
Our Deck Top Roof Tiles are the perfect flooring option for your urban getaway. Obviously that place is on the roof! Duh. These rubber tiles are perfect for roofs because they feature a grooved bottom that allows water to easily flow under the tiles. Installing our rubber deck tiles is a breeze. These tiles use a dowel system (which is just a fancy word for pegs) that are inserted into each tile. This type of installation yields itself well over fragile, waterproof membranes since it is not necessary to glue to the subfloor underneath. With the natural properties of recycled rubber, these tiles are also mold, mildew and slip resistant and feature insulating properties.
Playground safety flooring is great for both residential and commercial applications. These rubber tiles and mats ensure that when your children are playing, they will be safe. Playground tiles are very easy to install and come in several colors and thicknesses. For most residential playgrounds, a 1.5” thick tile is the most commonly used and 2.5” for commercial playgrounds.

If Superman and Wonderwoman had a baby, it would be a super baby with all of the best qualities of each parent. Imagine Life Floor Tiles as the super baby to rubber and foam, which makes them the best flooring option around pools and in areas where a lot of water is present. When rubber gets wet, it becomes more slip resistant; the foam properties of these tiles make them very comfortable to stand on and they even feature several patterns and colors that are sure to make any pool pop. These outdoor tiles can either be installed with a peel and stick backing or with rubber cement. Maintenance of these tiles is very easy, only needing a hose and a broom to sweep away larger debris.

Rubber Landscaping Accessories

The two landscaping products we offer are Rubber Tree Rings and Rubber Splash Blocks. Rubber tree rings help to protect trees from weeds, fungal growth and erosion. These rings are comprised of mulch pieces that have been glued together to form a ring. These rubber rings come in one size and are great around younger trees.

Rubber Splash Blocks are a great alternative to the plastic splash blocks that are seen in areas of the country where water comes from the sky. These blocks sit at the foot of the gutter and help to funnel the gutter water away from your home.

Both of these products are able to handle the harshest of environments and will not chip or crack in freeze thaw cycles.
