Is Elite Floor Supply legit? We get this question quite a bit these days. As an industry veteran who has been selling rubber flooring for over 23 years and online for over 18+ years I am going to attempt to answer that question as truthfully as I can based on the evidence I can find online.

FlooringInc was founded in 2007 by three co-founders in Arizona. One of them happens to be yours truly just so I am being transparent. It took us about a year to get our first website up (rubberflooringinc.com) and get our first order online from a very nice lady in Tucson. Feel free to go to archive.org and look at past iterations of that website. Please don't laugh though as all websites looked comical back then compared to today's versions. Today we have over 40 employees across AZ and TN. We also have real warehouses with real inventory and are lucky enough to have a healthy customer base where we service 120-160 orders each and every day. We are BBB accredited and have been since May of 2008 and have an A+ rating.
Elite Floor Supply:
The domain itself appears to be registered in October of 2023 and the site was launched in late 2024. I had to dig for the parent company but eventually found them. They are SAS Brands Loop out of Stafford, TX. They appear to be a holding company with a wide array of brands but no real specialty. They also run Wedding Sparklers Now, Air Filters Today, Polar Blades, and Eco Electric Supply. They appear to have a 6 person team listed on their parent site and are operating under a shared office suite. They have no BBB listing. I also couldn't find a Texas state business registration under SAS Brands.
Key Point
Elite Floor Supply doesn't appear to be a dedicated flooring company. They are 5 random Ecommerce sites run by the same operator. FlooringInc is a flooring only specialist with over 500 million square feet of flooring sold in our lifetime.

One company is clearly a company focused on being a flooring expert. The other has been so haphazardly put together they make claims on products they do not sell. Maybe AI wrote that for them I guess.
Reviews: Real vs. Inflated
FlooringInc:
125,000+ verified reviews across independent third party sites over 15+ years. These include Shopper Approved, Google, Trust Pilot, BBB, and more. Even the product reviews utilize a third party source that is the same company Home Depot uses so that those are as trustworthy and transparent as possible.
Elite Floor Supply:
Appear to use judge.me ( a self-managed shopify app) which shows 979 total reviews. However every single product page displays an identical 1027 review badge at 4.79 stars. This is obviously not possible. So what is going on here exactly? I asked my AI, feel free to ask your own, but it appears these were probably mostly AI written and the exact same review count is used across every product. Please see the images from Elite Floor Supply's website below for reference.
Their only third party trustpilot review is a 1 star review where the reviewer warns against purchasing from them for a variety of reasons.
Shipping Reality
Elite Floor Supply claims:
"3-5 day" transit with "flat rate shipping."
Reality: buried in the product specs is 10-20 business day production lead times before shipping even begins. This whole graph they use below on their home page is pretty misleading. The reality is many products come from many different USA based manufacturers each of which offer different warranty levels on each and every product.
FlooringInc:
Has published and frequently updated lead times and warranty information by product all the way down to the color and thickness level with the intent to be as transparent as possible about what to expect during your purchase experience. For many orders we have real inventory on hand in our TN warehouse which usually ships in 1-2 business days if in stock. We offer multiple shipping options and our sales team can line up extra services for you if needed such as inside delivery and more.
In addition, this chart shows misleading price ranges for all company's. I couldn't find a single advertised price on elite floor supply's website under $1.40 per square foot even though they are claiming 1.21 per square foot options. They also claim our lowest price is 1.89 per square foot. We have three rubber roll items on this rubber gym rolls page alone that come in under their 1.21 per square foot price.
I also believe the durability rating is a completely made up stat. I'd bet money they have zero evidence to back that up.

The Bottom Line
Elite Floor Supply is one of five random-vertical Shopify sites run by a 1 year old holding company that lacks even a single public business registration that you can find. FlooringInc is an 18+ year old flooring specialist with 125k+ verified reviews, a real warehouse you can visit, and real people you can call. They do have competitive square foot prices on some basic rubber flooring products although when you factor in order minimums, shipping fees, restocking fees, and the service, if anything goes wrong, the savings evaporate. FlooringInc also does shop our competition weekly so while they may beat us on one price one week, we usually find that we're beating them the next.
