Description - Stunning wood looks and realistic stone visuals come to life in Mohawk's Gateway sheet vinyl flooring. Complete with chattermarks, dimensional embossing that matches the design, grout lines and even a slate cleavage effect, this resilient vinyl roll is sure to fool the unknowing eye. Durable vinyl flooring is not only easy to clean and maintain, but it never has to be sealed or cared for like natural wood and stone. Simply clean up any spills immediately, do an occasional sweep and keep loving the floor.

Recommended Uses – Gateway vinyl sheet flooring is recommended for a variety of moderate traffic areas, including but not limited to bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms, offices, kitchens, dens, basements, and more.

Vinyl rolls are easy to clean and maintain. Cleaning of this flooring typically includes:
  • Sweeping or vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the floor when necessary.
  • Light damp mopping to remove light staining or spills. Remove scuffs and excessive soil by carefully scrubbing.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as discoloration may occur. We recommend closing blinds or drapes during peak sunlight hours to prolong the life of the floor.
Note: This is not a stain proof product. Leaving certain harsh chemicals or spills on the floor for an extended period of time may cause some staining and/or damage. Always clean up a spill immediately to reduce the chance of staining or other damage to your flooring.

Can this be laid over tile?

Vinyl sheet can be installed over a surface that is clean and flat. Grout lines in tile would need to be filled in or leveled out to reduce telegraphing through the sheet.
Can this be used on a porch which might get rain on one end?

Is underlayment boards / luan required on a wood subfloor?

Wood is an acceptable type of subfloor, but note that any adhesive used may damage the wood.
