3/8" Home Dance Subfloor Tiles Reviews

We LOVE our studio!!! Your floor helped transform an old dojo with a concrete floor into a dancers’ pride and joy!!! Here are some photos, in process and at the end!

Installed just as described. Pleased with the result.

I installed the subfloor tiles under the marley and over hardwood floor and it was easy to do. I bought extra subfloor tiles more than the marley so I just added them to give me a bigger area to move. I like the 3/8″ depth which is not too high to notice when walking cross the floor. I danced on the new floors and really enjoyed it. It gives me the feeling of studio with enough support. I would probably not dance on pointe as I would add plastic tiles on top of the subfloor.

I figured that I would need 45 tiles based on the tiles being 2’ X 2’ but when i put the size of my install area into the calculator on the website It said I needed 60 tiles so I figured that the size of the tiles was off . I ordered the 60 tiles and had 15 leftover. The company said that I could return the tiles but the shipping cost was over $50 so in the end I just kept them and used them as a anti fatigue mat in front of my workbench.

This was easy to install and lay down for a subfloor in the dance studio!

I used this with the tap tiles and it worked great for a beginner tap class as well as an advanced ballet barre. I find for more advanced ballet jumps more padding would be needed, but it was a life savor for a ballet barre.

Provides firm support with cushion. Works well under adagio roll 1.5mm thickness. i use ballet slippers, Cuban heel practice shoes, and one and a 1/2 inch heel for ballroom.

We bought these tiles for two in home projects. A dance floor so my daughter could start college virtually and a workout area. Great product!

The floor tiles provide the cushion I need for my activities without having a ton of unwanted give.

These tiles are great! It looks nice and holds up well. My daughter is constantly using it. I would highly recommend this floor!

Easy to interlock and cut. I put them directly over concrete and used as a subfloor under my marley flooring for my home dance studio. It works great and gives support for all types of dance and yoga.
