Very Happy, Almost
Self-installed in Garage
from Evansville IN wrote...
After searching locally and online, I decided to use Garage Flooring, Inc. as the supplier for my new garage floor. I searched their website, found a design that I liked, and placed an order for sample tiles. Happy with the samples, I placed my full order. Their custom designer tool made the order process easy. The Diamond Pattern Nitro Tiles (black, graphite and victory red) arrived quickly enough and all in good shape. The tile assembly went smoothly as I used a rubber mallet to snap the pieces together. The tiles also snap apart easily if needed. I was able to assemble the entire floor (23’ x 21’), excluding the trim, in about 6 hours. I completed the trim in about 2.5 hours. For trimming, I used a hack saw and a utility knife. I was fortunate that the width of my garage allowed for a perfect fit using full size tiles, only having to cut the right side tabs off the final row of tiles. I am really pleased with the appearance of my new floor and so far it has been easy to keep clean. However, I am not completely satisfied with the tile performance. The tiles are very sensitive to direct sunlight… within a few minutes of opening the garage door and being exposed to the sun, the tiles start to buckle. Within a few minutes of closing the door, the tiles return to their flat state. This is extremely annoying and is keeping me from rating these tiles higher.

Awesome floor!
Self-installed in 12 X 20 garage
from Bedford ,Texas wrote...
This floor was easy to install. Everything snapped into place and looks absolutely awesome. I chose the orange and tan and checkered boarded it. I found it to be a very strong floor as I roll a 61 inch tool chest across it. I installed this in a 12 by 20 garage that I built in my backyard so it has a 3/4 inch wood deck. I will be ordering more for my attached garage. Customer Uploaded Photo

DIY At any Age

We bought a house that had previously had the garage turned into another living quarter. We needed a garage so had it changed back. The living space had been carpeted over cement floor. We didn’t know what to do until we found this flooring online. Decided to give it a try. My husband and I were going to lay the floor. He is 82 and I am 74. We questioned ourselves about doing this job without help. As it turned out we didn’t need the help. It was a very smooth process and we are so pleased with the outcome. We would recommend this flooring to any “do it yourselfer” no matter what age. Customer Uploaded Photo

Trouble in the sun.
Self-installed in Garage

I ordered tiles after receiving my samples in the colors black and cobalt blue. They shipped right away and was packaged for easy handling. I wanted tiles because I could do a section of my garage at a time without having to empty out all the “stuff” that accumulates with three sons plus my tools. We won’t discuss the things my wife won’t let me throw out. Installing the tiles was a breeze (17’ X 14’) footprint was completed all in one day. However, my garage faces east and gets the hot 🥵So. Calf. Sun most of the morning. The tiles at the front would get warm and start to buckle after about 10mins. Once I closed the door they would go flat again. I called customer service - they (she) was great, asked me how many tiles I would need to replace with “vented tiles” to correct the heat issue. These new tiles were shipped same day and delivered in two days “no charge” Replaced the old with the new vented and it fixed the problem,. I can now open my garage door whenever I want - looks great. Thank you to all, good group to work with. Would recommend product and company,

Concessions flooring

I ordered a few samples just to check on color and they arrived in only a day or two which was awesome. I then preceded to order 360 square feet of your nitro tiles with the diamond plate pattern. I used them for quite a unique application that is I use them as the floor to my concessions tent. (Blooming onions) they work better than I anticipated. They were super easy to install. And to keep clean. And at the end of the event they were just as easy to remove and store. So far they have been fantastic and I have already recommended them to a few of my fellow concessionaires.

I Love It!

GREAT PRODUCT!! Using the tile floor designer on the website I determined my floor layout. It was nice to visually see the design that I wanted for my garage floor. I was a little worried about the quality of the tile considering the price difference, compared to Racedeck floor tiles. I saved over a $1000.00 going with Rubber Flooring, Inc....I have an oversized garage (23x30) My order was delivered within a week and was so eager to start the install that my wife and I got up early the next day to start work. It took us around 4 hrs to complete the install. I was very impressed how easy the tiles snapped together. I used a electric miter saw to make the necessary cuts. Walking on the tile floor is different in that it has a different sound as opposed to walking on concrete, but it only takes a short while before you get use to it. I highly recommend Rubber Flooring Inc.

Tile Functionality

The floor looks great. The representative that helped design my floor was very knowledgeable and made the process very easy. Installation was a bit challenging because you have to experiment to get the tiles to fit and we still had to lay some of the squares unsnapped in order for the floor to come together completely. Also some of the tiles won’t remain snapped in place and some won’t remain flat when you park your car on them. For these reasons, I gave the product a 4 rating. New Lab floor, sure.
Self-installed in Laboratory space
from Gainesville, FL wrote...
I had a dilemma with a lab floor in an older building with epoxy floor over mildly rotted concrete. Would have done no good to try to repaint. Got the Blue and orange tiles and put them in. They worked well and was able to cut them with a large (Old-school) paper cutter. I spent more time moving fridges and freezers than I did laying the bulk of the floor. The tiles took double wide freezers and fridges rolling across them without any issues. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was the blue tiles were more brittle and the male locking tabs on the tiles tended to break when separating them and were harder to cut as they tended to snap instead of cut. I have a painted garage floor that was water stained and has some damage from spilled gasoline. It did not look so great. I was excited when I looked into your tiles. I installed it over an underlayment which makes it comfortable to walk on, and produces less noise. The tiles gave it a new look and is easy to clean up. I am glad I decided to install the flooring. Now I have the best looking garage on the block.
