I ordered this carpet to replace old carpet in a small hallway. I installed it on top of old vinyl/laminate flooring that was under the old carpet. I did buy a few rolls of carpet tape to secure this down because it is in a high traffic area. The carpet planks do come with a sticky strip but it was just down the center so I was worried the edges would lift up. It did take some patience to install. First I did all the tiles that ran the whole length of the hallway and those were easy. Then I had to do the pieces that went into five doorways, meaning I had to do a lot of precise cutting to make it fit around the door jams and trim. I also had to cut pieces to fit into our closet and our pantry. The carpet looks pretty nice. The fluffiness of the carpet hides the lines between the pieces. I would definitely recommend this carpet.
