I have been in the industry a long time and have trained on many, many floors - so I am a snob about what is under my feet. I also just opened my own small group training center and needed rubber flooring that was durable, easy for me to install on both a budget and a deadline, that was of high quality to train on. I wanted to stay local and tried East Coast suppliers and manufacturers, but none had exactly what I wanted and then I discovered Rubber Flooring Inc. and I was in!!! Not only was the selection outstanding in terms of color, depth, style and usage - but they have so many ways to apply/install it. I specifically got the regrind rolls in confetti and people stop in their tracks when they come through the door. That's how nice these rubber floors are!! My clients love to train on it, they clean like a dream and really keep their color and luster. I am a burpee maniac and doing it on these mats is heaven. In addition, the customer care is some of the best I have ever received. If you run, manage or own in the fitness industry, you know how important that is, and Rubber Flooring's team is the best. Really held my hand through the whole process. Steered me back in the right direction when I veered a bit and then after installation (which was easy peasy - from delivery to literally rolling out the rubber and making a straight cut), still followed up with me for care and feedback. Rubber rolls are heavy, and material is thick. I needed a professional installer, who worked very hard to cut through the material. Rolls were not matching in color of black, and three rolls were damaged on the sides upon delivery so that the seams have divots and chunks interrupting the seam in some places. I do like the flecks of color in the regrind rolls and samples sent before hand were a good example of what was delivered.

We have a 1400 square foot commercial gym, it had low pile carpet in it, we put the 3/8 regrind rolls over the carpet and used carpet tape to keep it in place. It is wonderful. All of our gym members love it! It looks like a whole new gym.

The installation was pretty simple (rolls are heavy so an extra person helps make installation quicker). There was some slight inconsistency with edges though. I installed flooring in my yoga/ fitness facility and the flooring meets my needs perfectly but 6+ weeks later I am still getting complaints about the odor- and clients concerned about safety (from the smell). I'm hoping we can resolve the odor issue because the floor is otherwise PERFECT and an economical solution.

Got 3 rolls of 3/8” 4x25’ for my home gym. Each roll is very heavy so me and my wife carried them down to the basement together. Make sure to use a t square and cut the edges so they are straight. They are very easy to trim. Looked great after we installed. Used double sided tape that was sold to us when we ordered. Overall, this was a great choice, looks great, 3/8” was a perfect thickness.

Some rolls didn't seem uniform. After a few months we had some big air pockets from the rolls expanding. Kind of a pain to fix.

I ordered 3 50’ rolls of 8mm flooring. The speckled floor looks amazing. The floor was very heavy, but was not terrible hard to handle. I did the whole job in about two hours by myself. Just make sure you have a new razor blade in your knife and it should cut through it like butter.

Installed this over an old, rough, concrete floor. It was easy to do and looks great!

Great product, sturdy, easy to install. Purchased 4 rolls for my home gym. It turned out great. Would be 5 stars, but 3 of the rolls were one type of tint and the 4th was way different. But that was communicated that there could be differences. But it was very different. But we made it work and are very happy.

Recently purchased 3 rolls (3/8″ thickness) to cover the floor in a small fitness studio (~400 sq ft). Floor has been down almost a week now and I'm very happy with my purchase. It looks great, holds the equipment well (no sliding or marks in the rubber), and keeps me from disturbing the business downstairs. I was expecting a heavy rubber smell that would linger for weeks, but this has not been the case.

We ordered 81 feet of the launch turf roll and eight rolls of the 50 foot 1/4 inch confetti rubber flooring. We are extremely pleased with how the gym turned out. The Customer Service was extremely helpful. I am planning on using Rubberflooringinc to finish out my next facility.

I've been very happy with the 3/8″ regrind rubber flooring I purchased. It was heavy but my husband helped me cut it in our driveway a little larger than needed to make it easier to move two smaller rolls than one big one. Then he cut it to fit with a utility knife and metal ruler. We easily laid it out in my office over an existing berber wall-to-wall carpet. I'm finding I don't need tape to keep it in place but I did use some where it abuts a different area rug (but mostly to keep that other rug from slipping. There was a strong rubber odor initially, but within a month it dissipated to the point that I don't smell it. An open window and fan got me through the worst of that. It's comfortable underfoot and deadens noise. I'm using it on one side of my massage therapy office to do one-on-one personal training with light equipment or body weight. I've vacuumed and swept it easily. And mopping with Dawn/water is easy enough. The 3/8″ size seems to be a great thickness - balancing out how heavy it was to carry with durability/comfort and stable enough on top of an existing carpet.

Very easy to work with. A straight edge and a sharp blade worked like a charm. Used it in a basement exercise room. Took about 60 minutes to complete a 12x15 room. A roll bigger than 30' x 1/4″ might be too much for one person to move around. Placed it about three weeks ago, still waiting for the smell to go away, but not nearly as bad as at first. Smells like the tire department at the fleet supply store!

Flooring was shipped fast, price was excellent, arrived in great condition and went down (installed) easy. Only drawback was the cost of the shipping.

The regrind rolls of flooring (3/8″ thick 4'x20') are just what we wanted for our basement home gym and work out area. It finished off the room and gave us an area where we can get on the floor for exercises rather than the concrete basement floor, and now the whole family is using the room to work out together.

Exactly what we needed to start converting corner of the garage into a workout area. 25 ft roll was relatively easy to manage, cut, and install. Durable and easy to clean. Exactly what we needed to make that space an effective workout space.

This product worked especially for our project . Once installed by pro floor installers we are completely satisfied & will lessen our clients falling accidentally on possible slick floors in a hair salon.
