How much odor do these tiles have?

Our 1/2" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles do have a rubber smell to them, but for most people, it is not overpowering and will dissipate in a couple of weeks. If you are sensitive to smells, we recommend mopping our rubber tiles with a mild soap and water solution with a synthetic mop head. You will want to let the floor air dry and make sure that it is in a well-ventilated area. To dissipate the smell truly, we recommend repeating these steps a few times.
Are these tiles water jet cut?

Our 1/2" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles are not water jet cut. They are die-cut or stamped.
We are turning our upstairs media room into a home gym and would like to know if this would be good to go over carpet? Will it move/shift during HIIT workouts?

Our 1/2" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles can be installed over low pile commercial carpet with ease. If installing over high-pile carpet with a thick pad, there is potential for the tiles to separate due to the pad depressing when walking over the tiles. To prevent this, we recommend placing a 1/4" thick plywood board over the carpet.
Are these rubber mats toxic?

Our 1/2" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles are very safe and are non-toxic. These rubber tiles are tested regularly to ensure that they don't harbor hazardous chemicals or heavy metals. Can the 1/2" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles support a universal gym and free weights? The under-floor is concrete.

Our 1/2" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles can support a universal gym and free weights over any hard and flat surface like concrete. This thickness is very popular for Olympic lifting.
Is this suitable for bathroom flooring, i.e., waterproof?

Our 1/2" Sure Fit Rubber Tiles could be used as flooring in a bathroom. Our rubber flooring is water-resistant and is easy to clean and maintain. Rubber is very slip-resistant and is even more so when wet. When installing in bathrooms or areas where water may be present, we recommend sealing the small pores in the flooring. You can do this by using our Rubber Floor Finish and Sealer. Since these tiles are interlocking, you may also want to seal up the seams of the tiles. You can do this by using our Seam Sealer glue in any areas where there may be a little gapping once installed.
