Description - Finding the right flooring for a multi-use fitness room just got a lot easier with PAVIGYM'S Motion virgin rubber tiles. The activity in multi-use fitness rooms is more diverse than any other flooring space and requires a floor that can not only handle the traffic but also help give proper traction and impact resistance. PAVIGYM'S Motion Series handles impacts and vibrations with a property called “Point Elasticity.” This helps to minimize impacts and vibrations from being transferred away from the point of impact, resulting in fewer injuries and damage from dropping dumbbells. Slip resistance is achieved with the way these tiles are constructed. The textured rubber flooring top helps to provide the proper amount of slip resistance whether wet or dry. A 5-year warranty backs PAVIGYM'S Motion Series Rubber Tiles.
Material – Virgin Rubber Tiles are constructed from 100% virgin SBR rubber (a synthetic rubber compound that includes no latex or recycled rubber).
Size – 35.43" x 35.43"
Thickness – ~3/8 (9 mm)
Weight – Each center tile weighs approximately 15.50 lbs.
Recommended Uses - Motion Series rubber tiles are the perfect flooring option for any commercial or residential application and have been used as flooring in multi-use fitness rooms, weight rooms, as home gym flooring, as studio flooring, as impact resistant flooring, and much more.

Available For Order - Ships between May 2 - 16

Virgin rubber flooring is easy to clean. Maintenance of these interlocking rubber gym mats typically includes:
  • Vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the rubber floor tile covering when necessary.
  • Occasional damp mopping of the virgin rubber tile surface with a mild soap and water solution. A few recommended soaps are Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
Note: We recommend that all of our virgin rubber floor tiles are damp mopped immediately following installation to remove any residual waxiness on the tile that may still be present from manufacturing residue.

Optional: Virgin rubber tiles may be sealed with a common flooring sealer to help provide a high gloss finish and to further protect your floor from wear.

Installation of interlocking tiles is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these tiles is as follows:
  • First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
  • Snap a chalk line on the sub floor 24” from one wall in your room. Snap another chalk line on the subfloor 24” from an adjacent wall. You should now have a pair of perpendicular lines making an approximate 90-degree angle.
  • Begin laying the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping the locks together as you go.
  • Leave the perimeter of the room open until the field is installed.
  • After the field is covered, go back and cut in lines along the walls in the room. Leaving a gap at the wall roughly the thickness of tiles being used is recommended to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.
Note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives are usually not used since the weight of the locked together product is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, if you do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided tape or mat tape can be used around the perimeter of the installation to prevent any movement.

Don't see what you're looking for?
I want to use these tiles for my garage that doubles as a gym and park my electric vehicle. Can it handle the vehicle driving and parking on it?
You can use PAVIGYM's 9mm Motion Rubber Tiles as flooring for a garage gym. These rubber tiles are durable enough to allow a car to drive over them and park. Typically we don't recommend driving over our rubber tiles, but these tiles are larger and heavier than our standard rubber tiles. Meaning it is harder to move them when driving in and out of your garage.

I specifically wanted a floor for my home gym that did not smell or out-gass and was non-toxic but durable enough for cross fit workouts. This floor is does all that I was looking for and it looks really nice too. I purchased the brown color they call Wengue; it is a beautiful brown with texture in the color that makes it look like leather. This flooring will protect my wood floor underneath it, be a great shock absorber on my own joints, and last years. I only have one complaint about the flooring itself, it is slippery. I have washed it multiple times and the website description says it is an anti-slip flooring but I have to put a mat on the floor to try and help my feet from slipping when doing stretches and certain exercises. I hope this will go away after a while. My other complaint is the website calculator. Do not trust it to give you the correct amount of tiles needed. I think it may be calculating 2 x 2 foot tiles when these are actually 3 x 3 foot tiles. Make sure to double check how many tiles you need before you complete your purchase.

I had to get creative with gyms closed in my area due to Covid-19 and suddenly becoming so sedentary for months on end. I had just started to get into a healthy routine again prior to Covid-19 and was just starting to remember how much I loved it. I decided enough was enough and converted my small dining area into a small gym since I never used it anyway! I had to be mindful also of noise being on the second floor. I took a leap of faith after a lot of research and investment to order my beautiful, gray PAVIGYM floor. My husband and I worked as a team to put it together and the process went quite smoothly. I am so pleased with this floor. It seems to buffer the noise which was a huge concern for me and it also feels good on my knees. It is not slippery on my feet and is non toxic so no terrible smell to inhale in my living space. I have attached some photos of my work in progress gym area! Let me know if you need anything else. I am thankful I discovered your company and this flooring!
