3/8" Sport-Lock Rubber Tiles

Our 3/8" Sport-Lock Rubber Tiles are ideal for any commercial or home gym application. These interlocking tiles come with removable edge pieces on two sides, allowing you to transform any tile into a corner, border, or center tile. This flexibility simplifies the installation process, saving you time and effort in determining the number of each tile type you need. Once installed, these tiles appear virtually seamless and are backed by a 5-year warranty, similar to our Tight-Lock tiles.

The tiles are made from recycled SBR rubber and colored EPDM virgin rubber flecks. Each tile measures 36" x 36" (interlocked size: 36" x 36"), with a thickness of 3/8" (9 mm). Each tile weighs approximately 20 pounds.

Recommended Uses: Sport-Lock tiles have been used successfully in both residential and commercial applications. These interlocking rubber tiles have been used in weight rooms, home gyms, exercise rooms, locker rooms, doggie daycares, pet grooming facilities, baseball dugouts, bathrooms, outdoor decks, patios, as anti-fatigue mats, and under stationary bikes, treadmills, and fitness equipment.

Quick Notes: Removable edge pieces may require some cutting for proper removal.

• Clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dust, dirt, grease or other foreign material.
• Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile and add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls.
• Add center, corner, and border tiles where you see fit.

• Clean your subfloor so that it is free of dust, dirt, grease, or other foreign material. It is also recommended that the subfloor be free of moisture when gluing your flooring down.
• Begin laying the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping the locks together as you go.
• Leave the perimeter of the room open until the field is installed.
• After the field is covered, go back and cut in tiles along the walls in the room. Leaving a gap at the wall roughly the thickness of the tiles being used is often recommended to account for the expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in high-temperature range climates.

• Vacuum any loose crumbs, dust or debris from the flooring surface when necessary.
• Occasionally damp mopping with a mild soap and water solution. Recommended soaps are Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
• Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down the flooring over time.
