More Information

7 mm Coin Flex Tiles were designed to be premium multi-use floor tiles. These durable and yet slightly flexible floor tiles work exceptionally well as a garage floor tile however they also work well in a variety of other locations such as trade show exhibit flooring, workout room flooring, and basement flooring. The coin pattern design helps aid in providing a non-slip flooring surface that can still be easily cleaned. These garage floor tiles are also resistant to most solvents and chemicals and act as excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

Recommended Uses – Jumbo coin tiles are an excellent multi-use floor tile. These floor tiles have been used successfully as garage flooring, trade show flooring, retail store flooring, in stadiums and military bases, on storage shed and locker room floors, and in-home gyms. These tiles have also been used in airport hangars, in commercial garages. These tiles typically work well in any area where a resilient flooring surface would be useful that is both durable and easy to maintain.

Note: Flex tile colors are produced in batches, which can lead to color variations in your order. All colors may present some color variation, but Black, Dark Grey, and Light Grey can produce the most. These three colors can vary greatly between batches and thus it is recommended that you order more flooring than is needed for mistakes and replacements. This, in, turn, gives you the greatest chance to keep continuity across your floor. Batching will also affect color variation between samples and your order with Black, Dark Grey and Light Grey showing the most variation.

Details

Installation of these floor tiles typically includes: Clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material. When installing the hard plastic tiles, we recommend starting in the front left corner of the room and working your way out from there. Make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall. After filling the left wall with tiles and the adjacent wall, proceed to fill the rest of the room with whole tiles. When you come up to a wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a tile cutter or a power saw with a fine-toothed blade and put the trimmed tiles into place. When trimming the tiles into place, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction. Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces, if you purchased them.
Cleaning of these multiuse tiles typically includes: Vacuuming or sweeping any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the tiles when necessary. Hose off or damp mop the floor tiles with a mild soap and water mixture for tough or caked on dirt and/or stains.

Questions

Customer Questions And Answer
If the tires stain the tiles, there is no way to remove the staining. You would have to replace those tiles with black tiles. If street tar causes the staining, then Purple Power may remove the staining.
The only differences between our 6.5mm Coin Flex Tiles and our 7mm Coin Flex Tiles are the thickness and the colors that are offered. Other than that, these tiles are made from the same material and are both commercially rated.
