More about this product
Diamond-textured rubber gym tiles built to outlast the heaviest workouts.
Why gyms, garages, and training facilities choose 1/2″ interlocking rubber tiles
Impact-Absorbing Density
Heavy-duty recycled rubber absorbs shock from free weights, dropped equipment, and high-impact training without transferring it to the subfloor.
Slip-Resistant, Wet or Dry
A diamond-pattern surface grips underfoot indoors or out, so the same tile works in a training room or on a covered patio.
Waterproof & Odor-Resistant
Non-porous, non-absorbent rubber resists bacteria, mold, and mildew so it won’t hold onto sweat or moisture.
Nine Colors, No Mismatched Seams
Nine colors share the same interlocking format, so any combination lays out in a single seamless floor.

Some common areas where these rubber flooring tiles have been used include bodybuilding, weight training, and powerlifting gyms, CrossFit facilities, general fitness facilities, in physical rehabilitation centers and performance training facilities, in lockers rooms, around ice skating rinks as a blade resistant flooring, in baseball dugouts as a spike resistant flooring option, as doggy daycare and dog kennel flooring, as stall mats in barns, as all-weather outdoor rubber mats on decks, boat docks, and patios for slip protection, in garages and storage sheds, in children’s playrooms, as a utility room flooring, basement flooring, home gyms flooring, as general anti-fatigue flooring, trade show flooring, as noise reducing and thermal isulation flooring, as an eco-friendly “green” flooring option, and in any other location where a low-cost yet highly durable rubber tile option would be beneficial.
Note: Due to the manufacturing process and nature of recycled rubber, some surface variations, such as color distribution or shadowing, may exist, and tile thickness may vary. Shims may be provided free of charge to assist with any tile thickness issues.

Installation
- First, clean your subfloor so it is free of all dirt, grease, or debris.
- Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile and add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls.
- Leave the other two edges of the room open and fill in the rest, adding center, corner, and border tiles where you see fit.
- After the open floor is covered, go back and cut in tiles along the opposite walls in the room. We recommend leaving a gap along the walls roughly the tiles' thickness and using it to account for expansion and contraction of the floor in varied temperature ranges.
Note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives aren’t usually needed since the product's weight is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all. You can use some double-sided tape or mat tape around the installation's perimeter to prevent movement.
Care & Maintenance
- Vacuuming any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the floor surface when necessary.
- Occasional damp mopping of the interlocking mat with a mild soap and water solution. A few recommended soaps are Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
Note: Do not use solvent or oil-based cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc., as these will break down the flooring over time.

Customer Questions & Answers
30 questions
I am looking for a flooring I can install over carpet for a home gym. I had used horse stall mats before but it left marks on the carpet and had a strong plastic smell.
Our Rubber Gym tiles can be used over low to medium pile carpets, but high pile carpets can cause the tiles to separate. Light colored carpets do have the potential to be stained by our tiles due to them being black on the bottom. An easy solution to prevent staining is to place a thin plastic sheet underneath your tiles. Our rubber gym tiles do have a slight rubber smell to them, but this smell will dissipate over time.
Was this helpful? Are border and corner tiles 2 x 2? I did not see any pics.
1/2" Rubber Gym Tile borders and corners are 2' x 2' for our 2' x 2' tiles and 4' x 4' for our 4' x 4' tiles.
Was this helpful?I just installed the flooring in a music studio, which is total enclosed. There is a VERY strong rubber smell. Will it go away, and if so, how long will it take? Is there anything I can do to help get rid of it? It's really bad, don't want to be in the room.
The smell associated with our 1/2" Rubber Gym Tiles will dissipate over time. The best way to speed this process up is to mop the floor with a mild soap and water solution. We then recommend to let the flooring air dry in a well ventilated space. This process may have to be done a few times to truly get rid of the smell, but this is the best way to remove the rubber smell.
Was this helpful?Will two, 2' x 2' tiles interlock with one, 4' x 4' tile?
Two 2' x 2' tiles will not interlock with one 4' x 4' tile.

- 4 out of 5 starsPremium 3/4" vulcanized rubber 2'x2' center cut tile.
I purchased the premium 3/4" vulcanized rubber 2'x2' center cut tile. It's very durable and easy to handle and install. The shipping process wasn't smooth. The product didn't ship on time and the communication through this process was lacking. All and all it was and okay process.

- 5 out of 5 starsStand-up quality due to being volcanic rubber
Excellent quality and being hundred percent volcanic rubber will last the longest and provide the best protection for heavy equipment and weights. This was my primary reason for selection and I would recommend you do the same versus some of the inferior products that big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s may be able to order.
