Installation Instructions

Installing your Indoor Basketball Vinyl Court Kit is straightforward and typically completed by the customer. Follow these steps for a successful installation:

1. Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the subfloor is clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, or any other foreign material.
2. Start Installation: Begin in the front left corner of the room, working your way outwards. Ensure the female side (loops) of the tile faces away from the wall.
3. Tile Placement: After completing the left wall and the adjacent wall, fill the rest of the room with whole tiles.
4. Trimming: When encountering a wall or obstacle, measure the area, cut the tiles with a sharp utility knife, and place the trimmed tiles into position. Leave at least a 1/2” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction to allow for expansion.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly sweep or vacuum the floor to remove dust and debris. Use a damp mop with a mild cleaner to maintain the floor's appearance.
• Avoid Heavy Impact: Although durable, avoid dropping heavy or sharp objects on the floor to prevent dents or damage.
• Temperature and Humidity: Maintain a stable environment with moderate temperature and humidity levels to prevent warping or gaps between tiles.
• Periodic Checks: Regularly inspect the floor for any loose tiles or gaps, and resecure them as needed to maintain a safe playing surface.
