Installation Instructions

Installing your Indoor Basketball Court Kit is simple and straightforward:

  1. Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure the surface is clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, or other debris.

  2. Start Installation: Begin in one corner of the room, ensuring the female side (loops) of the first tile faces away from the wall.

  3. Lay Out the Tiles: Arrange the tiles in a perpendicular pattern, filling the entire area according to your design.

  4. Trimming for Edges: When reaching edges, walls, or obstacles, measure the required space and cut the tiles using a tile cutter or table saw. Leave a 3/4” gap between the tiles and any surrounding structures to allow for expansion and contraction.

  5. Edge Installation: If you purchased edge pieces, snap them into place once the tiles are laid.

Game Line Application

For painted game lines, use painter's tape or 3M 2060 tape to outline the lines. Apply a two-part polyurethane paint for a durable finish.

Care and Maintenance

Keeping your Indoor Basketball Court Tiles in top condition is easy:

  1. Routine Cleaning: Vacuum or sweep the tiles to remove loose crumbs, dust, and debris.

  2. Deeper Cleaning: For tougher dirt or stains, hose off or damp mop the tiles using a mild soap and water mixture.

By following these steps, your court will maintain its professional appearance and performance for years to come.
