Installation Guide

Installing Progym Planks is a breeze, making it an ideal project for DIY enthusiasts:

Prepare the Subfloor: Ensure your subfloor is clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, or other debris.
Start in the Left Corner: Begin by installing the planks in the front left corner of the room, working your way outwards. Ensure the female side (loops) of the tile faces away from the wall.
Fill the Room: Lay the tiles along the left and adjacent walls first, then proceed to fill the rest of the room with whole tiles.
Trim to Fit: When you reach a wall or obstacle, measure the area, cut the tiles with a sharp utility knife, and place the trimmed tiles into position. Remember to leave at least a 1/2” gap between the tiles and the wall or obstruction to allow for expansion and contraction.

Care & Maintenance

Maintaining your Progym Planks is simple, ensuring they look great and perform well for years:

Regular Cleaning: Vacuum or sweep away any loose crumbs, dust, or debris as needed to keep the surface clean.
Deep Cleaning: Occasionally mop with a mild detergent solution, avoiding harsh chemicals that could damage the wear layer.

Underlayment is only recommended in certain situations. If the space is being used for yoga, aerobics, or general workout areas, a 3 mm underlayment works well to add extra cushion. However, for larger spaces or sports like basketball or pickleball, it’s not recommended since it can soften the ball bounce more than most customers want. The tiles perform great installed directly over concrete, but if ball bounce isn’t a concern, underlayment can still be used to help soften impact.

The samples for the Progym Planks are 4" long x 4" wide.

The planks do not come with the striping/lines painted on. You may use our Premium Game Line Paint Kit to paint lines on the Progym Planks, the paint is available for purchase on the product page.
