Installation Instructions

Indoor Installation

1. Surface Preparation:

  • Clean and Level: Ensure that the installation surface is clean, dry, and level. Suitable surfaces include concrete, gypcrete, pressure-treated decking, wood, or backer board.
  • Remove Debris: Clear any dust or loose material from the surface to ensure proper adhesion.

2. Dry Lay the Turf:

  • Check Fit and Alignment: Unroll the turf and lay it out to check for proper fit and alignment. This step helps to minimize variations and ensures that the turf aligns correctly with the intended area. Look for manufacturing details stamped on the backing to determine the correct fiber direction.

3. Adhesive Application:

  • Apply Adhesive: Use a pressure-sensitive adhesive or double-sided tape on the clean, dry surface where the turf will be laid. Ensure an even application for a secure bond.
  • Lay the Turf: Position the turf over the adhesive or tape, pressing it down firmly to ensure it adheres well.

4. Seaming:

  • Seal Seams: Apply a bead of seam sealer along all seams where turf pieces meet. This helps to create a smooth, continuous surface and prevents lifting or separation.
  • Roll the Turf: Use a 75 lb. weighted roller to press the turf into the adhesive and ensure it is securely bonded. Roll across the width and length of the product for even application.

5. Curing Time:

  • Allow to Set: Let the installation remain in dry conditions for 72 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure and bond. Avoid using the area during this curing period to ensure the best results.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning:

  • Regular Sweeping: Periodically sweep or vacuum the turf to remove loose dirt, dust, and debris. This helps to keep the surface clean and maintain its appearance.
  • Spot Cleaning: For spills or stains, use a mild detergent and water solution. Gently scrub the affected area and rinse with clean water.

2. Inspection:

  • Check for Damage: Regularly inspect the turf for any signs of wear or damage. Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.
  • Check Seams: Ensure seams remain secure and sealed. Reapply seam sealer if needed.

3. Infill Maintenance:

  • Replenish Infill: If your turf uses infill, periodically check and replenish it to maintain proper cushioning and stability. This will help keep the turf's appearance and performance at its best.

Customer Questions And Answer
You may use a double-sided tape on the perimeter to secure the turf to the floor instead of glueing it down.
These turf rolls can be used indoors for tennis. We recommend getting a sample and placing it over the wood surface and testing the ball on it to ensure you're getting the needed bounce.
