Installation Guide
Installing our Interlocking Artificial Turf Tiles is a breeze, designed with the consumer in mind. Follow these simple steps to achieve a professional-looking floor:
- Prepare the Subfloor: Start by thoroughly cleaning your subfloor to remove any dirt, grease, or debris.
- Mark the Layout: Snap a chalk line 24” from one wall and another 24” from an adjacent wall, creating two perpendicular lines that form a 90-degree angle.
- Begin Installation: Lay the interlocking tiles along the chalk lines, snapping the locks together as you go. This will form the foundation of your floor.
- Finish the Perimeter: Once the main area is covered, cut tiles to fit along the walls, leaving a small gap (equal to the thickness of the tiles) to allow for expansion and contraction due to temperature changes.
- Secure (Optional): While adhesives are generally not needed due to the weight of the tiles, you can use double-sided tape or mat tape around the perimeter for added security if you experience any movement.

I'm interesting in installing turf in my football themed basement. What is the recommended method of applying the yard lines, team logo, etc? Is there speciality paint? Is the paint more commonly done as a DIY project or applied by a professional?
To add lines to our Turf Tiles, you can use a variety of white paints, both removable and permanent. Installation of these lines can be done by anyone whether an amateur or professional. Just have to make sure you chalk out your lines so that they look straight and professional.
Was this helpful?Can these grass tiles be used outside? I have a gravel road base, ?and this area is a pet area.
Our Turf Tiles use a nylon fiber will fade in the sun, so we don't recommend their use outdoors. You can use them outdoors if you are ok with this. As long as the base is solid, these tiles will work great for your pet area.
Was this helpful?How much weight can you put on the turf? My home gym is about 2,600 pounds total.
Our Turf Tiles feature a rubber base that will allow you to place fitness equipment over them. There is no weight maximum. The only issue you may run into is that when the equipment is moved, there may be an indentation where the equipment was. To fix this, we recommend brushing the turf fibers with a push broom. There is not guarantee that the fibers will return to their original state, but you can at least get the turf close.

Unfortunately, this is the only picture of the flooring I purchased. I did a Bronco themed workout room for a client’s teenage son. The flooring was very easy to put together, and the client loved it! There will be free weights in this room, and they will be doing plyometrics as well, so this very durable floor will work great and look great for a long time!

We were looking for a turf for our basement batting cage that could double as a place for my other son to practice soccer footskills. This product works great. The tiles are heavy enough that they don't move around and you almost don't even notice the seams, they fit together nicely and make a very smooth surface.
