Installation
- First, clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dust, dirt, and debris.
- Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for 24-48 hours to ensure the proper installation of your new flooring.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Apply double-sided tape to the floor along the perimeter of each roll.
- Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.
- First, clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, and debris. Also, when gluing your flooring down, it is recommended that the subfloor is free of any moisture.
- Loose lay your rolls in the room as you would like them to look after a complete installation. Let the rolls relax for 24-48 hours to ensure the proper installation of your new flooring.
- Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
- Make any necessary cuts to the rolls to fit them into the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. We recommend leaving a gap around the rolls roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
- Roll up the rolls at one end of the room. Spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10’ long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10’ at a time.
- Repeat this step for every 10’ of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
- After all of the rolls have been glued down, it is often recommended to use a 100-pound roller on the floor to guarantee good adherence to the subfloor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps may also work.
Care & Maintenance
- Vacuum any loose debris, dust, or crumbs from the surface of the rubber rolls as needed. For best results, use a vacuum with a soft-bristled brush attachment to avoid damaging the surface of the rubber.
- Occasionally damp mop the rubber rolls with a mild soap and water solution. We recommend using a small amount of Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent in warm water. Do not use excessive amounts of water, as this can seep into the seams and cause the rubber to lift or curl at the edges.

The surface is vulcanized; I mean, is it not porous?
Our 5mm Pre-Cut Rubber Rolls are not vulcanized. They are semi-porous floors. Any liquid falling on the floor would typically sit on its surface. Over time, there is potential for the liquid to penetrate the tiny pores in the flooring and make its way into and under the floor. If the liquid is left to evaporate, what you may see is some white flecking. This flecking is actually any salt or solid material that was left behind after the liquid evaporated. This material is very difficult to remove, so we recommend attending to spills ASAP.

As an embroidery production facility, this is a great product for cutting down the noise. . The Bad, we laid all the tape based on a. 4ft roll but the came about an inch or so wider, so we had to lay all the tape again.

Shipping was excellent and for the price couldn't beat it for the application. I am using it in the shop/mancave for Table Tennis. The only thing I noticed is if you roll something with a little weight it will buckle up...I'm going to place some carpet tape on it to try to keep it stable. But,I was also willing to give up some thickness for the price point I was looking for. All in all it was a satisfying purchase. Recommended highly. Will be installing a checkered board vinyl flooring in the near future
