These athletic sport mats can be cut to any whole' length desired up to 128'. Featuring a robust carpet top over cross-link polyethylene foam, these lightweight and portable Home Cheer Mats allow you to create a safe and durable practice space virtually anywhere.
Built to deliver top-notch performance, and easy to install, our Home Cheer Mats are versatile enough to be used as tumbling mats and gymnastics mats, providing fun and safety for any multipurpose environment. Available in several color options, these easy-to-store roll out mats are the perfect practice floor for any cheer athlete. Easily connect and secure multiple mats to create a cohesive and reliable surface with included hook and fastener when 2 or more mats are ordered. Proudly manufactured in the USA and backed by a 3 year limited warranty.
Please note: If ordering more than one mat, there may be slight variation in carpet color shade, texture, and nominal size due to the production process. Velcro strips are included on all orders of 2 mats or more for joining (one per seam). If placing another order at a later time, please contact us if you need additional Velcro strip for the new mat.
Material: Crosslink Polyethylene Foam bonded to a Tough 26 oz Needle-Point Carpet top.
Width: 6' wide.
Length: The rolls are custom cut to your desired length free of charge provided that each roll length is 10' long or longer and in whole' increments such as 11', 12', 13', etc. You will normally receive an extra few" on each roll. This allows for a quick and easy installation.
Thickness: 1 3/8" & 2" options.
- 1 3/8" is the most commonly used thickness of mat throughout the cheerleading industry, although 2" thickness will provide desirable enhanced shock absorption.
Weight: 1-3/8" thick mat is ~3 lbs. per a sq ft. and our 2" thick mat is ~3.75 lbs. per a sq ft.

Installation
Home Cheer Mats - Custom Cut are very easy to install. The built-in flex rolling system makes it easy to roll each mat out for use and quickly roll it back up when finished for convenient storage. Plus, they’re portable and lightweight making them easy to transport. Install these mats in virtually any room or practice space quickly and without fuss.
Please Note: Velcro strips are included with all orders of two or more mats to allow for joining the mats together. Two or more mats can be arranged to make a larger gymnastics mat area.
Care & Maintenance
Home Cheer Mats - Custom Cut are very easy to clean. Each mat is constructed of durable closed cross-linked polyethylene sports foam with a durable carpet top.
- If the mats do get something spilled on them or appear dirty, simply wipe the area with a damp cloth or vacuum, and your cheer mat will look like new.
- To avoid lingering dirt or debris, be sure to spot clean and vacuum your mat regularly (at least once a week) if the mat is used on a daily basis
Manufacturer cleaning guidelines are as follows:
While most porous surfaces, like carpet, cannot be completely disinfected, the risk of spreading pathogens/microbials can be mitigated by following a regular cleaning/sanitizing schedule. We recommend vacuuming before or after each use, and deep cleaning on a regular basis with a sanitizing solution like Sporicidin® or MediClean® (formerly MicroBan®).
Instructions:
- Clear the mat of all obstructions and debris.
- Vacuum the entire surface of the mat.
- Use a hot water extraction cleaner or “steam” cleaner with a sanitizing solution, or apply with a handheld or electrostatic sprayer and allow carpet to remain damp for recommended time.
- Allow mat to dry fully before using or rolling up for storage.

How do you keep the mats from moving around/slipping on the existing flooring?
To keep the mats in place, we recommend using our mat tape.
Was this helpful?Is this the same form you use on your shock-absorbing pads that go under artificial turf for outdoor playgrounds? Wondering if I can assume the fall impact ratings would be the same (i.e., ~ 5 feet for a 2-inch thick pad).
Our Home Cheer Mats do not use the same foam as the pads used under our turf products. Our Home Cheer Mats are not fall height rated.

Yes, Cheer Mats can be cleaned with carpet cleaner. The carpeted surface is made from synthetic materials and cleans very easily.
