Please Note: The wood grain tiles features a thin yet durable veneer-like foam surface that can be punctured by sharp animal nails, rough use, high heels, and the wooden pattern may not always align perfectly between interlocking tiles.

Installation of Premium Soft Wood Trade Show Kits portable wood grain floor tiles is very simple and typically done by the consumer. Typical installation of these interlocking tiles is as follows:

First, clean your sub floor so it is free of all dirt, grease or debris.
Start in one corner of the room with a corner tile and add border tiles outward along the adjacent walls. Add center, corner, and border tiles where you see fit.
When coming up to an opposite wall, make sure you cut the tiles to fit the area leaving a gap that’s roughly the thickness of the tiles being used to account for expansion and contraction of the floor tiles in varied temperature ranges.

Please note: When piecing interlocking tiles together, adhesives are usually not used since the weight of the locked together product is usually enough to keep the floor tiles from moving. However, if you do experience movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided tape or mat tape can be used around the perimeter of the installation to prevent any movement.

Premium Soft Wood Trade Show Kits tiles can be maintained just like your wood flooring at home.
The recommended cleaning instructions typically include sweeping the tiles to remove any loose or dry dirt, crumbs, dust, or debris.
To clean harder stains or liquids off of the soft wood tiles, the tiles should be wiped off with a damp rag or temporarily lifted and cleaned under warm running water in a sink or bath tub.

You can order single tiles to make larger trade show floors on our 5/8" Premium Soft Wood Tiles page.

Our Premium Soft Wood Tiles are fire resistant and have a Class 1 fire rating. They do not contain any fire retardants, so they are safe for kids of all ages.

A full case of our Premium Soft Wood Tiles would be 26" x 26" x 17," and the weight would be approximately 25 lbs. Each tile weighs about a pound apiece.

We currently do not have a beveled ramp for our Premium Soft Wood Trade Show Kits. Each tile comes with flat edges that help turn any tile into a corner, border, or center tile. Our kits have been used at many trade shows, and we haven't yet gotten a complaint about these tiles being a tripping hazard. To get a true sense of how thick these tiles are, we would recommend you get a sample of the flooring.

We wouldn't recommend putting a thick carpet pad under our Premium Soft Wood Tiles as this may cause separation of the tiles as they are walked on. This is caused by the carpet pad underneath depressing and could cause a tripping hazard.

Our Premium Soft Wood Tiles have a 1-year warranty for manufacturing defects. If you do have issues with your tiles after that point, don't worry, we will still be able to assist. Each tile in our Premium Soft Wood Trade Show Kits is 2' x 2' in size.

A 25 tile kit of our Premium Soft Wood Trade Show Kits and all of our trade show kits covers approximately a 10' x 10' area. The amount covered is just a hair smaller than that area.

Our Premium Soft Wood Tiles are made from EVA foam, so no underlay is needed as these foam tiles would behave in the exact same manner, if not better as they are thicker and are more durable.
