2mm Pre-Cut Rubber Underlayment

Pre-Cut 2 mm rubber underlayment is the standard and most cost-efficient thickness used for underlayment in the industry. This flooring underlayment offers superior sound dampening, while still being very affordable. The soundproofing properties of our standard rubber underlayment is equivalent to 6 mm thick cork underlayment. One advantage to using rubber over cork or foam is the fact that you don't have to use adhesive to hold down the floor and you can also free float the underlayment in a floating floor assembly. You also wouldn't need to use a vapor barrier with the underlayment unless there are water issues, but for most manufacturers' warranties, a vapor barrier is required. Also, our rubber flooring underlayment can be installed at or above grade.
