Description This gym flooring will provide any space incredible sound and shock absorption. These interlocking gym mats are a massive 3/4” thick and are backed by a waffle pattern that consumes vibration and impact sound. Sweat, weights, and mold are no match for these gym mats as they go through a process called vulcanization, which is the melting and compressing of the rubber buffings used to make these mats. This process gives you non absorbent, anti-slip when wet gym mats that are 3x stronger than standard 3/4” mats. Being thicker than standard Olympic lifting rubber mats, you will have beveled edges on all 4 sides to reduce any trip hazard. Backed by a 5 year warranty these fitness mats will offer superb shock protection to commercial and residential gyms

  • Vacuuming any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the rubber surface when necessary.

Customer Questions & Answers

Don't see what you're looking for?
Is there any Flammability Test performed on this product shock mats?
Our Shock Mats are tested and are Class III fire rated.
I would like to put two of the mats together. Or is it possible to get a custom size? I am concerned that my treadmill will not lay flat on the area where the two beveled edges meet. Can the mat me cut? And if so, how?
Our Shock Mats come in two sizes. If you would like a size larger than what you can get with our mats, we do offer this mat in a tile form that allows for larger and varying sizes. That product is called our Shock Tiles.
How easy is it to move these mats? Will I be able to roll them up after each workout?
Our Shock Mats are pretty easy to move. Our 4' x 6' mats can be easily rolled up and stored. Our 4' x 8' mats come in two 4' x 4' sections which are easy to roll up and store as well.
Will these protect ceramic tiles from cracking/damage if I'm doing Olympic lifts with bumper plates? And example would be doing 225- 300 lb deadlifts.
Our 3/4" Shock Mats would be enough to protect your ceramic or porcelain tile floor from being cracked when doing heavy deadlifts. These rubber mats are very shock absorbent, and will help to deaden the impact that is created when the weight is dropped.
Is the 4' x 8' - 2 piece shock mat = 2 - 4' x 4' sections or 2 - 2' x 8' sections?
The 4' x 8' Shock Mat is two 4' x 4' beveled pieces.

2 inches short, bad quality control

Overall it’s a decent mat to lift on. However, mat was extremely dirty and had cuts and chunks missing out of the edges. Also was about 2 inches short of being 8 feet. Horrible qc.

I bought this mat for my newly finished gym basement. The mat is high quality, amazing design. My husband calls it like flat tires on the floor...very highly constructed. I would buy again. I use for bumper weights, dumbells and other lifting materials.
  Finally a mat that works!

We have gone through three other mats with three other companies and Finally We Got The Perfect Mat. Going through three other companies, we were skeptical, so it is great that Rubber Flooring provides samples before purchasing. Already invested some much time and money, we thought this was going to be the same we had purchased in the past. Once we got the samples, we were wrong and had to immediately purchase the mat that works for us... through the Rubber Flooring Inc!
Works perfectly as a deadlift station

Needed a new solution for deadlifting in my home basement gym. Previously I had a custom built 8x8 platform, which was great, but it had to be disassembled for a major home repair. This mat is convenient, functional, and made of a quality material. Even when lifting heavy (400 lbs plus), it keeps my floor well-protected and free of damage. The 4x8 option comes in two sections which makes positioning it much easier than if it were one piece, which would be a bit cumbersome due to its weight. The pieces fit together quite well and do not buckle or separate at all when in use. As a deadlifting station, this works perfectly. If however you need a full 8’x8’ platform to go under a rack, go instead with the interlocking tiles or the rolled rubber option, since two sets of these would not be seamless due to their beveled edges. I have rolled rubber covering the entire gym floor and for this purpose it works perfectly. Great product for the home power or Olympic lifter.
