Rubber flooring rolls can be custom cut to any length; however, please note that there is a 15-foot minimum cut length for all orders.

Confetti typically includes a mix of multiple colors, but the blend and percentage of each color vary with each production run—and in some cases, may consist entirely of neutral tones like grays. Natural is made from standard recycled rubber and whitewall car tires. As a result, color and shade variation is expected in both options.
When installing rolled rubber flooring, it is important to choose the right installation method for your project. The most common methods of adhering rubber rolls to the subfloor are:
A: Double-Sided Tape Installation
Ensure that the subfloor is clean, dry, and free of any debris.
Loosely lay the rubber rolls in the room to achieve your desired layout. Allow the rolls to relax for 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation.
Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
Cut the rubber rolls to fit the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. Leave a gap around the perimeter roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
Roll up the rubber rolls at one end of the room. Apply double-sided tape to the subfloor along the perimeter of each roll.
Place the rubber rolls back into position on top of the double-sided tape.
B: Glue Installation
Ensure that the subfloor is clean, dry, and free of any debris or moisture.
Loosely lay the rubber rolls in the room to achieve your desired layout. Allow the rolls to relax for 24-48 hours to ensure proper installation.
Note: Rolls may be directional, so make sure the color matches on each roll. If the roll colors do not match, flip them or turn them 180 degrees to ensure the color matches.
Cut the rubber rolls to fit the room using a straight edge and a utility knife with a fresh blade. Leave a gap around the perimeter roughly the thickness of the rolls being used to account for expansion and contraction.
Roll up the rubber rolls at one end of the room. Spread a light layer of polyurethane adhesive that is 10 feet long (maximum) and unroll the flooring into the adhesive 10 feet at a time.
Repeat step 5 for every 10 feet of roll length until the entire roll has been unrolled into its desired position.
After all of the rolls have been glued down, it is recommended to use a 100-pound roller on the floor to guarantee good adherence to the subfloor. If a roller is not available, walking on the flooring in small choppy steps may also work.
Keeping your Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls clean and looking their best is easy with these simple maintenance tips:
Sweep or vacuum loose debris regularly to prevent buildup and minimize the risk of slips and falls.
For a deeper clean, simply damp mop the rubber rolls with a mild soap and water solution. We recommend using Dawn dish detergent or Tide laundry detergent.
Do not use any solvent or oil-based cleaners like Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy's Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, or similar products. These cleaners can break down the flooring over time and cause damage.
The best way to cut our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls is with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. We recommend doing a scoring pass, before starting your actual cut. This will make cutting the roll easier.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are resistant to mold and mildew growth. The only time mold would ground it if there were foot stuck on the floor.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be used in the aisles of a horse barn.
All of our rubber thicknesses are good for home gyms. For most home gyms where no heavy weight is being dropped, we recommend going with our 8mm thickness. You can park a car on our 3/8" and 1/2" rubber rolls, but if your car leaks oil, the roll will start to break down over time. Most other vehicle chemicals will not affect the flooring in this manner.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be used in a woodworking workshop where there are stationary machines on movable bases. Our heavy duty rubber rolls are made to be used in commercial gyms where heavy fitness equipment will be on the floor. This equipment can be stationary or moveable. So, it will be able to withstand any abuse in a workshop.
You can use a hard floor steam cleaner on our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls. That is the best way to clean our floor. If you don't have a steamer, you can also use a synthetic mop with a mild soap and water solution.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls would work perfectly for a home gym where low to mid-impact aerobics exercises are performed. This roll is commonly used in commercial gyms like LA Fitness, Gold's and the like and is our most popular rubber roll.
A vapor barrier is not necessary when installing our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls.
Depending on your application, there are a few ways you can install our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls. For most basement installations of our rubber flooring, simply rolling the rubber rolls out with no glue or tape is typically sufficient. This allows you to pick up the rolls in the instance there is a major flood. If for some reason the rubber rolls do move at all, you can put down some double-sided tape to keep them in place.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are not vulcanized and would have small pores in the flooring. These pores are not very large and typically do not trap dirt and debris. If you are looking for something that is non-porous, you will want to look at our vulcanized tiles and mats. These don't have those small pores and would ensure that no dirt and debris gets trapped in the flooring.
You can use our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls outdoors under a swing set. The rolls will help to protect the ground under the swing set from being destroyed. Our rubber flooring is very slip-resistant and is more so when wet. Our rubber rolls are also mold and mildew resistant. The only thing you will notice while having this rubber roll outdoors is that it will fade a bit in direct sunlight.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be installed over carpet. As long as that carpet is a low pile or commercial carpet. The rolls can still be placed over a high pile carpet, but due to the carpet pad underneath, you may get separation of the rolls which can cause a tripping hazard.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can contain a very low level of latex. These rolls are made from recycled truck tire treads, and if any of the rubber were to be natural rubber, there is potential for the allergen to be present.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be installed over most hardwood floors without damaging them. If there is concern that the rubber will damage the flooring, we recommend placing a plastic sheet between the rubber and the hardwood floor.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are not vulcanized.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are held together by a binder that can be broken down by petroleum based products. Over time, these petroleum based products will break the binder down enough for the floor to start to break down and flake. This process is not an immediate one, but over time the floor would be ruined. In areas where there will be some petroleum products that will fall on the floor, we would suggest putting a plastic sheeting down if possible to protect the floor.
You can install our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls over low pile commercial carpet with ease. No tape would be needed for the seams. Our rubber rolls can be installed over high pile carpet, but there may be some separation of the rolls due to the carpet underneath getting depressed.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls were made with heavy gym equipment being on them in mind. So, chairs ar totally fine on this floor.
You can drive snowmobiles, quads, dirt bikes, and any other vehicle over our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls without destroying the roll.
There can be a slight odor to our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls. To help mitigate this odor, we recommend mopping the floor with a mild soap and water solution and letting the floor air dry. You may have to do this process a few times to fully remove the smell.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are pretty heavy and typically will not slip on their own. If they do, we recommend using double-sided tape or adhesive to keep them in place.
We don't have a specific timeframe as to when the rubber will finish off-gassing, but to help mitigate the smell of our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls, you will want to clean it with a mild soap and water solution and let it air dry in a well-ventilated space. You may need to repeat this process a few times to eliminate the smell.
Cycles will not sink into our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls. These rubber rolls are very dense and will create a solid, comfortable flooring surface for indoor cycles. Our rubber flooring has been used in both commercial and residential gyms successfully and even in cycle studios all over the country.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can help reduce the amount of sound that is transmitted by your treadmill. It's not the best product for this, but definitely can be used for this function. To truly reduce noise transmission, we recommend using Shock Mat or Shock Tiles. Both of these products are designed to reduce the transmission of noise from floor to floor.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls do not have a textured side for added grip. Rubber flooring is very slip-resistant on its own, so there is no need for it to have a grippy side. The weight of the roll keeps it from moving. If for some reason a roll were to move, we recommend placing some double-sided tape under the roll or glue.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty rubber Rolls can be placed over 1/4" thick commercial carpet. Under our rubber flooring, we recommend that the surface underneath be flat and solid. The only surfaces we don't recommend placing rubber flooring over are vinyl and plush carpets.
For our rubber rolls, we recommend using a polyurethane glue to adhere the flooring to any subsurface.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be used as flooring in a shower cubicle. You will want to seal the floor to keep and soap, salt, and dirt from getting trapped in the pores of the floor. Rubber when wet is more slip resistant so that this floor would be a perfect in this environment.
For uneven concrete surfaces, we recommend leveling out the concrete to create an even surface. If that is not possible or is not needed, to keep your seams nice and tight, we recommend using our seam sealer.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are perfect for both home and commercial gyms. 3/8" thick rubber is the most common thickness found in gyms, especially commercial gyms. This thickness is very functional in all types of gym situations and if very easy to clean and maintain.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls would be great as walkway flooring. Rubber flooring is very slip resistant and is, even more, slip resistant when wet, which is perfect for a slope where sweat and other liquids may be present. These rolls are made for use in commercial gyms, so they will help to give you ample shock absorption if someone were to fall and will also protect your subfloor from any fall objects.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls were designed to be used in commercial gyms where heavy weights are dropped on the floor and heavy equipment placed. These rolls are more than durable enough to handle heavy rolling carts.
You can easily maneuver a wheelchair across our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be installed in a carport over concrete.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls do no have any black dust that would come off the floor and leave marks in other areas. The black dust you see from lower quality rubber rolls is the roll itself. What happens is that the roll will start to break down and flake making the black dust you see. Our rubber rolls are made from high-quality rubber buffings bound together with the top of the line urethane ensuring that the roll does not break down and flake.
There would be no issues with installing our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls over ceramic tile.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls have and can be used in a hockey locker room where skates will be worn.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls have and can be installed in high traffic walkways where there will be water and heavy abuse from shoes, cleats, ice skates and the like. Rubber is very slip resistant and is more slip resistant when wet. Our rubber rolls are also very easy to clean and maintain and can be mopped, swept, vacuumed, and squeegeed. You will just want to use a mild soap and water solution when cleaning stuck on dirt and grime.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be used as elevator flooring. Rubber is very slip resistant and more slip resistant when wet. It is also resistant to mold and mildew growth and very easy to clean and maintain.
The best way to mitigate the smell of the roll is to mop the floor with a mild soap and water solution and to let it air dry. You may have to do this a few times to get the smell to dissipate to a comfortable level. This has been shown to be the best way to get rid of the rubber smell.

Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be installed outdoors over a concrete patio or wood deck. These rolls are resistant to mold and mildew growth and are more slip-resistant when wet. The only issue you may run into is that the floor may fade in direct sunlight.

The sealer will fill in the pores, and the seam sealer will keep any urine or other liquids from seeping to the subfloor below.

If you are installing our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls over an LVP, LVT, WPC, or SPC, you will not have to worry about the rubber staining your vinyl flooring. The wear layer on the flooring protects the vinyl from interacting with our rubber flooring. If you have a vinyl floor that does not have a wear layer, you will have to worry about the vinyl being stained by the rubber flooring.
You can install our Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls in a driveway. These rolls are very durable and would be able to withstand the constant back and forth of car traffic. The only thing that will affect these rolls is oil from your car. If your car were to leak oil, over time, the binder that holds the rubber together starts to break down.

Behind a bar, we would recommend sealing our flooring with our Rubber Floor Finish and Sealer. This is done to ensure that no food or liquids get caught in the floor. After you seal the floor, you would just simply sweep any large dirt and debris with a broom and then mop the floor with a mild soap and water solution.

Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be a great flooring option for a stage depending on how the stage will be used. If this is for concerts where a person will essentially be standing, and instruments are being played, our rubber flooring would perform well. Since our rubber flooring is slip-resistant, if there were any spills, the performer(s) would be safe in regards to slip hazards as rubber flooring is more slip-resistant when wet. If the stage is being used for performances where dancing or lots of movement is involved, then our rubber flooring may not be the best solution. Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be used as a bathroom floor. These rubber rolls are very slip resistant and are more slip-resistant when wet. Rubber is naturally mold and mildew resistant and is very easy to clean. To ensure that these rubber floors are super easy to clean and maintain, we do recommend sealing the flooring with our Rubber Floor Finish and Sealer. This will ensure that no solids get in the small pores in the rubber.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls will not damage carpet. If you do have a light-colored carpet, we do recommend placing a plastic sheet between the rubber and carpet, as some staining could occur. When installing our rubber flooring over plush carpet, we do recommend placing a 1/4" plywood board over the carpet. This will help to prevent separation of the rolls due to the carpet pad depressing when walked over.
Technically you can place a carpet pad under our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls, but we don't recommend it. The issue is that when the carpet pad depresses, it can create a tripping hazard between the multiple rolls. To add more cushion to your flooring, we would recommend using one of our rubber underlays. These will provide ample cushion underfoot and are more solid, meaning no tripping hazard.
So overall, both products are essentially the same; The same thickness and same material, but there are differences between the two. So the regrind rolls are all made from all the scrap material that we get from making our standard rubber products like our Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls. The confetti version of our regrind rolls has the same density as our standard rubber flooring and can be used in all the same places. The black version of this product is less dense and is great high impact workouts...

Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be installed over a 4" thick compacted gravel base. All you would need to do is lay the rubber flooring over the base and you would be good to go.
If you would like to seal your rubber flooring, we recommend using our Rubber Floor Finish and Sealer. We don't have any sealers that are in any colors.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls and all of our rubber flooring can get hot if installed in an area that gets a lot of sun. Our rubber flooring will not get as hot as concrete but will get hot. We wouldn't recommend anyone laying directly on the rubber flooring, but you could place mats or chairs on top of the rubber flooring outdoors. Rubber flooring is resistant to the elements and is very slip-resistant, and more so when wet.
You can install our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls over any hard, flat surface and pretty much any existing floor, so you can install our rubber rolls over an existing brick floor.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be used as flooring on a ramp outdoors. Our rubber flooring is very slip-resistant, and more so when wet. It is also very easy to clean and maintain and is able to withstand the elements. The only thing you will notice is that the flooring will fade if left in direct sunlight.
To keep your 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls looking like new, we recommend using our Rubber Flooring Cleaner and Degreaser. Adding mats to the entrance to where your flooring will also help keep dust and dirt from getting on the rolls as well. For any large dirt and debris, you will want to make sure you sweep or vacuum it up and then mop with our Rubber Flooring Cleaner and Degreaser regularly.
You can drop a barbell with bumper plats on our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls without damaging the subfloor. This thickness is the most common thickness used in commercial gyms.

You can install our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls over a luxury vinyl floor. The reason that you can install it over a luxury vinyl floor, waterproof, or rigid core floor is due to these products having a wear layer that protects the actual vinyl. If you were to install this over a standard vinyl floor, we would recommend placing a plastic sheet between the vinyl and rubber. This will help to prevent any reaction from happening between the rubber and vinyl.
A citrus-based cleaner will not damage or breakdown our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls or any of our other rubber products.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are very durable outdoors. These rolls are made from the treads of commercial truck tires, so they would behave the same way as your car tires do in the elements. Rubber flooring is naturally mold and mildew resistant and is also very slip-resistant even when wet. The only thing you will notice is that in direct sunlight, these rolls will fade over time.
Yes this would be a suitable application. Be aware that direct sunlight may cause the rolls to fade slightly over time.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are not the easiest flooring on the knees. If you want something that will be easy on the joints and durable enough for fitness equipment, we would recommend using our Impact Rubber Rolls or our black Regrind Rolls. These floors are less dense than our mainline rubber rolls like the 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls can be ordered in any whole foot increment above 15 linear feet. So, yes, you can order custom cut rolls in 24 linear feet.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls do have a top and a bottom and are directional. There is a grain to the rubber, so when rolls are not facing in the same direction, they will look different. Some of our rubber rolls may have writing on the bottom, which will indicate that that is the bottom, but most don't. When you receive your rolls, when you roll them out from their rolled-up position, the rolls will roll out top side up.
Our 3/8" Heavy Duty Rubber Rolls are pretty heavy, so it is pretty tough to move them, but there are certain exercises that could move them.
