TritonCore

What Is TritonCORE Flooring?

TritonCORE is a rigid core luxury vinyl plank flooring line built around a waterproof core and a stain- and scratch-resistant wear layer, sold with matching moldings to finish the install. TritonCORE is a FlooringInc house brand: we design, price, and warranty the line ourselves rather than reselling it from an outside manufacturer, which is why you won't find a TritonCORE dealer network to shop against. The flagship product, TritonCORE Pro 7" Rigid Core Vinyl Planks, pairs a rigid waterproof core with an attached cork underlayment and a 20 mil wear layer, and it clicks together for DIY installation on any level of the home, including basements. TritonCORE also covers its planks with a full trim kit: quarter round, T-molding, reducers, stair caps, and stairnose, all cut to 94" and finished to coordinate with the plank colors rather than sold as generic trim.

Rigid Core vs. Standard Waterproof Vinyl

The "rigid core" in TritonCORE Pro refers to the dense, stone-composite-style core underneath the vinyl wear layer, which resists dents and holds its shape better underfoot than a flexible vinyl-only plank. That rigidity is also what lets the planks click together with a tighter, more stable seam and skip a separate underlayment purchase, since the cork layer is already attached. It's the same reason rigid core vinyl has become the default recommendation for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and other rooms where moisture and temperature swings are a real concern.

Who TritonCORE Fits

TritonCORE is built for budget-conscious DIY installs where waterproofing and a finished look still matter: rental units, basements, home offices, and light commercial spaces like veterinary clinics that need an affordable, resilient floor. The wood-look colorways run through familiar species names like Pine, Oak, and Hickory, and the coordinated trim kit means you can spec an entire room, stairs included, in one plank family without color-matching across brands.

What FlooringInc Carries in TritonCORE

FlooringInc stocks the TritonCORE line in two parts: the plank flooring itself and the finishing trim that matches it color for color.

  • TritonCORE Pro 7" Rigid Core Vinyl Planks - the core product, with an attached cork underlayment, a 20 mil wear layer, and click-lock DIY installation, suited to commercial vinyl use as well as residential rooms.
  • TritonCORE trim and moldings - quarter round, T-molding, overlap reducers, staircap, and stairnose, each 94" long and built to coordinate with the TritonCORE plank colors for a seamless transition at doorways, stairs, and adjoining floors.

Buying TritonCORE Flooring from FlooringInc

Because TritonCORE is our own line, the plank and every coordinating molding are stocked together and priced by the same company, so a room and its staircase can be specified in one order instead of matching trim to plank after the fact. Free samples of the plank colorways ship before you buy, which is worth doing on a wood-look floor where Pine and Oak read differently under warm bulbs than they do in a photo.

Trim and plank orders ship freight from our Tennessee warehouse. The call worth making before you order is the trim call: a T-molding joins two floating floors at the same height and snaps into an included track strip, while an overlap reducer steps down to a lower surface and ships without one, and both come in 94" lengths that need to be counted against your doorways. Our team will work through that list with you, and because the line is ours, the warranty question and the product question go to the same place.

TritonCORE Flooring FAQ

Where can I buy TritonCORE flooring online?

TritonCORE is sold by FlooringInc, and only by FlooringInc — it's our own rigid core vinyl brand rather than a line we resell, so there's no authorized-dealer list to search. Planks and the coordinating quarter round, T-molding, overlap reducer, staircap, and stairnose all come from the same order, with free samples available before you buy.

Is TritonCORE a FlooringInc brand?

Yes. TritonCORE belongs to FlooringInc — we spec the plank and stand behind the warranty ourselves, rather than distributing an outside manufacturer's line. In practice that means one company sets the price, ships the sample, tracks the order, and settles a warranty claim, with no manufacturer to route a question through first.

Is TritonCORE flooring waterproof?

Yes. TritonCORE Pro planks use a waterproof rigid core, and the matching moldings are vinyl-wrapped over a waterproof plastic core as well, which makes the line a fit for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and basements.

Can I install TritonCORE flooring myself?

Yes. TritonCORE Pro planks use click-lock installation and can go on any level of the home, and the trim pieces are designed as DIY finishing moldings, with the T-molding snapping into an included plastic track strip.

Does TritonCORE flooring need underlayment?

No separate underlayment purchase is needed for TritonCORE Pro planks, since they come with a cork underlayment already attached to the plank's rigid core.

What wood looks does TritonCORE come in?

TritonCORE Pro planks are available in wood-look colorways including Pine, Oak, and Hickory, with the coordinating trim pieces offered in matching color options so transitions and stair edges don't stand out from the field.

Is TritonCORE flooring good for commercial spaces?

Yes. TritonCORE Pro planks are rated for both residential and commercial use, and FlooringInc lists them under commercial vinyl for spaces like veterinary clinics and offices that need a durable, easy-to-clean floor.

What trim options are available for TritonCORE flooring?

TritonCORE offers a full coordinating trim kit: quarter round, T-molding, an overlap reducer, a staircap, and a stairnose, each cut to a 94" profile to match the plank flooring across floor-to-wall transitions, floating-floor seams, and staircases.
