6mm Eco-Cork Underlayment

Our 6 mm cork underlayment offers superior sound absorption while offering superior protection of your floor. This industry standard thickness outperforms foam underlayment and has the ability to suppress cracks in the floor due to fracturing in the sub floor. Cork also has the ability to ‘breathe' which allows moisture to move through the floor which in turn helps to prevent mold and mildew. 6 mm thick cork is equivalent to 2 mm thick rubber, making it a great and inexpensive option for most of your flooring needs. Material - Our 6 mm flooring underlayment is made from cork, which is harvested bark off of the cork tree. The bark of the tree grows back for over 200 years and can be stripped every 9 years, making this product truly 'green'. Width - 4 feet wide roll. Length - Available in 50' and 98' standard lengths. Thickness - 6 mm ( 1/4"). Weight - 0.27 lb/sq-ft.
