Carpet Tile squares do not require special equipment or cleaning products. Maintaining your carpet tiles is as easy as follows:
  1. To keep your rooms clean and inviting, vacuum your carpet tiles frequently.
  2. Remove spills immediately with an absorbent cotton cloth and clean water. You can also easily remove any floor carpet tile for tough stains to better clean the tile and easily replace it.
  3. Periodic maintenance can be performed as needed using a hot water extraction-cleaning machine (I.E. carpet cleaner). Carpet tiles have a backing that prevents water from penetrating or harming the tiles.
Carpet Tiles are easy to install. Installation of our ComfortPlus modular carpet tiles typically includes:
  • In wall to wall or rug installations, tiles can be loose laid and cut into place with a straight edge and a utility knife. Each tile has a self-adhering back that secures each tile to the floor without the need for glue, tape, or tacks. If you do experience some movement and would like to ensure that the tiles do not slide at all, some double-sided carpet tape can be used around the perimeter of the floor and directly under the seams of the tiles to prevent any movement.

If you're looking for a floor covering that is easy to install, attractive, mold resistant, and has a more padded feel than all of the other commercial carpet tiles out there, this is it! Cutting the tiles is pretty easy, but you need to use a sharp knife and change the blade every few boxes. The instructions say to make sure you keep each tile snug with the previous tile; that's really important to ensure that there are no cracks between the tiles and to make sure you end up with a seamless look. My tiles are installed on a concreate floor and the adhesive on the back of the tiles is sufficient to keep the tiles stuck down. I started out doing one room and loved it so much that I decided to do a second one as well. Highly recommended.

Very good quality product, easy to cut (especially if you use a new craft knife blade!) and install. If you made a mistake in placement you can pull it up and re-set it.
