Can this lay over carpet?
If the carpet is high pile you may have issues keeping the interlock together. You can add a flat sturdy subfloor in between, such as a sheet of plywood.
Was this helpful?Do these tiles have a smooth seamless finish when assembled? Would a subfloor be recommended if using on a cement floor?
When installed over a smooth flat floor our Swisstrax Dancetrax tiles will make for a seamless finish. While installing a subfloor over a cement floor is not necessary, we recommend using one as it will provide a more stable foundation for the Dance Trax tiles.
Was this helpful? Is a subfloor needed if using on a cement floor? Is this a smooth, seamless feel?
