Joy Carpets

Joy Carpets is an American manufacturer of printed, patterned broadloom carpet — made in the USA for over 40 years and best known for themed home theater, game room, and school flooring. Most styles carry a Class 1 fire rating and Green Label Plus certification for indoor air quality. Joy specializes in high-quality yarns, specialized dye techniques, and innovative backing systems that produce floors as durable as they are eye-catching. FlooringInc is an authorized retailer of Joy Carpets products, not the manufacturer, so what you buy here is the genuine article.

Where most carpet mills stick to safe neutrals, Joy builds floors around a theme: film reels and ticket stubs for a home theater, stars and swirls for a game room, art deco geometry for an upscale media room, even patterns that glow under black light. Alongside the statement pieces, Joy also makes refined broadloom in classic patterns — houndstooth, trellis, quatrefoil, plaid-inspired linear designs — for living areas, offices, and other everyday spaces.

Under the pattern, the construction is consistently practical. Across the Joy Carpets line you will find premium WearOn nylon and STAINMASTER nylon fibers, Actionbac backing, and treatments like Impervion and StainSmart that resist stains, soil, mold, and mildew. Joy Carpets backs its floors with manufacturer warranties — up to a lifetime warranty on select styles — and every Joy Carpets product we carry is made in the USA. The result is carpet that looks like a design statement but is genuinely easy to clean and built for high-traffic residential and commercial use.

FlooringInc carries 80 Joy Carpets products, nearly all of them broadloom carpet rolls in a wide spread of patterns and colorways. Here are the main families you will find in our Joy Carpets catalog:

• Home theater and cinema carpet — the heart of our Joy Carpets lineup, with over 60 styles in our home theater carpet category. Movie-themed designs like Camera Ready, Reeling, Motion Picture, Silver Screen, and Admit One feature film reels, tickets, popcorn, and stars, while the Any Day Matinee collection (Moderne, Gatsby, Mayfair, Bryant Park, Pinnacle) leans into art deco glamour. Newer arrivals like Midnight Gild, Radio City, Chateau Chic, and Cathedral bring a more upscale, architectural look to media rooms.
• Neon Lights black-light (glow) carpet — a family of designs (Space Explorer, Fun and Games, Have a Blast, Celebration, Dynamo, Kapow, and more) that glow under black light, popular for arcades, bowling alleys, game rooms, and home theaters.
• Basement-friendly styles — 30 of our Joy Carpets styles also appear in our basement flooring category, thanks to mold and mildew resistance that suits below-grade family rooms.
• Classic patterned broadloom — everyday designs like Windsor (houndstooth), Sanctuary (quatrefoil), Broadfield (plaid-inspired), Orchard House (trellis), and the Impressions collection (Dwell, Intersect) for living spaces, offices, and commercial interiors.
• Kids rugs and specialty pieces — a handful of Joy Carpets kids rugs such as Note Worthy and Off Balance for music rooms and play areas, plus Greenspace artificial grass rugs for indoor/outdoor use. Our Joy Carpets selection focuses on broadloom rolls — the theater and game-room patterns above — with these kids' rugs as a small supporting cast.

Every one of these products is made in the USA — you can browse them alongside the rest of our domestic catalog in our Made in USA collection, or start from the full carpet category to compare Joy Carpets with everything else we carry.

Patterned carpet is a commitment. A themed floor sets the tone for the whole room, and colors and scale read differently in person than they do on a screen. That is why we make it easy to check before you buy: FlooringInc offers free samples, so you can see a Joy Carpets pattern and feel the pile in your own space, under your own lighting, before you order a full roll.

You are also buying from a retailer with a track record. FlooringInc has collected over 125,000 verified customer reviews across independent platforms, and there is a service line you can reach on both sides of an order — before it ships and after it lands. If you are carpeting a commercial cinema, a chain of game rooms, or just a basement theater that needs an odd cut, a real person can walk you through measuring, ordering, and lead times. Many Joy Carpets product pages note it directly: for assistance placing large orders, contact our service team.

Logistics matter with broadloom, too. Carpet rolls are heavy, wide-format freight, and we ship them from our US-based warehouse in Tennessee. Because we carry 80 Joy Carpets styles in one place, you can compare the whole themed-carpet landscape — deco versus movie-reel versus black-light neon — side by side, instead of piecing it together from scattered listings.

Shortlist two or three patterns, order the free samples, and the winner will be obvious on your floor.
