I’m a renter with a very fussy landlord. Can the tacky back planks be easily removed without leaving adhesive on the underlying tile floor?
Yes, these planks can be removed easily and if glue stays, it can be cleaned with a multipurpose cleaner.

Was this helpful?Hello, we have concluded that Envee tacky back is our best choice. We have a cabin that will occasionally see temperatures of 50degrees during times we are gone but I see that 55 degrees is recommended. Could someone tell me what happens when temps are slightly below 55 degrees? Does the tacky back become less sticky - but then perhaps recovers when we raise the house temp? We may well consider this an accepted risk and replace some planks if needed because these are so right for our needs. Thanks.
As per the manufacturer, the main concern of ambient low temperature or high temperature is movement in the subfloor which can cause gapping or peaking.

We laid the flooring over concrete in our Den. We had a flooding problem that had been taken care of, but we still didn't want to take any chances. We used the double-sided tape and were amazed at the ease of installation. The floor was beautiful and looked as if a professional had installed it. This was in August 2015. Fast forward to December, We had noticed the planks didn't lay flat but thought time and traffic would take care of that.It didn't. The planks seemed to be bowing more and make a slapping sound when we walk across the floor. The planks developed a gap between some of them and I have to slide them back in place. I contacted customer service and sent pictures. Haven't heard back. I love the look of the floor please I need suggestions on how to fix my problems.

I used this to cover pink mosaic tile floors in hotel bathrooms. Product was easy to install and looks amazing. Only time will tell how it hold up. Btw the backing is super sticky and cannot be repositioned, which is a good thing.
