Intensify rolls are very easy to clean and maintain. Maintenance for these turf rolls typically includes the following:
  • Periodic sweeping of loose dirt, dust, and debris may be necessary to keep the flooring surface clean.
  • For stains and blemishes, clean the rolls with a warm water solution of household detergent and water. Never use bleach.
  • For animal urine, use a mixture of white distilled vinegar in an equal amount of water. Make sure to flush thoroughly and vacuum any excess solution.
  • For chewing gum, the use of dry ice or refrigerant packets may be necessary to remove gum from flooring surface.
  • If your turf rolls become matted, brushing of the surface may be needed to restore the aesthetic appearance. Always use a synthetic brush and never a metal or wire bristled brush when performing this task.
Installation of our Turf rolled flooring is very easy and typically done by our customer's. Below are instructions for both outdoor and indoor installation of our rolled flooring.

Glue Down Outdoor Installation
  • First you will want to make sure that your surface is level, clean and dry. Our turf flooring can be installed on concrete, asphalt, pressure treated decking, and composite decking.
  • Next you will want to dry lay your turf to implement roll sequencing to minimize normal variations. Manufacturing details will be backstamped on one side of the backing, this will assist in determining fiber direction.
  • Apply pressure sensitive adhesive or double sided tape and then lay the turf.
  • Apply a bead of seam sealer to all seams.
  • Roll the product with a 75 lb. Weighted roller across the width and length of the product surface.
  • Once completed, the installation much remain in dry conditions for 72 hrs. in order for the adhesive to cure properly.
Non-Infilled Synthetic Lawn Outdoor Installation
    Area Prep
  • First you will want to remove all grasses, sods, mulches, etc from the marked areas. Note: If you are landscaping around trees shubbery, flowers, light poles, utilities, etc., remember to mark around those areas and account for the turf edge configuration. Remember to leave ample area uncovered around the bases of trees.

  • Base Construction
  • It may be necessary to compact the native soil/subgrade prior to base construction.
  • Add a base of crushed rock and level it with a landscaping rake. Ideally, the base should be approximately 3” thick.
  • After spreading, spray with water and use a hand tamp to compact the area. This typically take 2-3 passes. Let the compacted area dry and check for any inconsistencies in the area.

  • Lay Turf
  • Roll the synthetic turf out on top of the constructed base. Note: If the site requires multiple rolls, be sure to have the grain of the fibers on each roll of turf running in the same direction.
  • If using multiple rolls, trim the untufted edge.
  • Around the borders, trim the turf to mat the edges.

  • Gluing The Seam
  • Fold the adjacent trimmed edges of two rolls of turf approximately two feet apart the entire length of the seam.
  • Roll out the seaming tape and apply adhesive with a 1/8” trowel.
  • Center the seaming tape and lay the edges of each roll of turf directly onto the tape making sure not to bury or trap the synthetic grass fibers. Make sure no tape is showing and that the two pieces of turf are butting up against each other so that the joint is invisible.
  • Add weight to the seams and allow time for the adhesive to cure overnight.

  • Secure Turf On Edges And Brush
  • Steak down the turf along the perimeter every three feet or so with landscape spikes.
  • Fibers are usually matted down so use a stiff bristled broom to stand the fibers up.
  • Sand infill is optional.
Glue Down Indoor Installation
  • First you will want to make sure that your surface is level, clean and dry. Our turf flooring can be installed on concrete, dusting, powdering concrete, gypcrete , pressure treated decking, wood, or backer board.
  • Next you will want to dry lay your turf to implement roll sequencing to minimize normal variations. Manufacturing details will be backstamped on one side of the backing, this will assist in determining fiber direction.
  • Apply adhesive or double sided tape and then lay the turf.
  • Apply a bead of seam sealer to all seams.
  • Roll the product with a 75 lb. Weighted roller across the width and length of the product surface.
  • Once completed, the installation must remain in dry conditions for 72 hrs. in order for the adhesive to cure properly.
Don't see what you're looking for?
Do I need to put infill into the artificial grass and what kind of infill ?
Anonymous
With our Intensify Turf Rolls, you don't have to use an infill, but you can. There are a number infills you can use depending on the type of application. For landscape purposes, we recommend using Silica Sand. For athletic use, we recommend using Rubber. For putting green use, you can use a special infill made for putting greens or silica sand.
Do I need to put infill into these artificial grass, it will be at my patio. What kind of infill should i put ?
Anonymous
You don't have to use infill for this type of application, but the infill we do recommend would be a Silica Sand infill.
Can I use this to cover my patio and how long will it last?
Anonymous
You can use our Intensify Turf Rolls to cover your patio. This product can be used indoors and out. Depending on the amount of traffic and proper maintenance, this product can last for several years without needing to be replaced.
Can this be installed in a garage where a car will be parked? Can this be cut to size?
C
We don't recommend having cars driving over our Intensify Turf Rolls on a daily basis, but these rolls can be installed in a garage where a car may be. Our Intensify Turf Rolls are 12' wide and can be cut to any whole foot length. To cut these turf rolls to fit, we recommend using a sharp utility knife and a straight edge.
Hi, How does this get adhered to the ground? Do we need some sort of glue? What is needed to have it installed? This will be for my outdoor terrace but the foundation is uneven. Will this intensify the unevenness or make it better?
yari
To install our Intensify Turf Rolls to a concrete pad, you will want to use our 7700 Series adhesive or our Polyurethane Adhesive. To install these rolls, all you would need is a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. For full installation instructions, please refer to the installation tab on the product page. The turf will be able to install over uneven ground and depending on how uneven the floor is, may or may not accentuate the unevenness.
Does it have to be glued down? Are there other options? Can it be rolled out and just used like that?
eric
You don't have to glue down our Intensify Turf Rolls. You can loose lay these turf rolls, or you can use double-sided tape. Many of our customer loose lay the rolls so they can easily roll them back up or move them in and out of their studios.
If I want one strip of turf for sled pushes, can I lay it on the top of my rubber flooring without adhering it down?
andrea
Yes, you may lay this turf without permanently installing them. You may use a double-sided tape on the perimeter if needed to keep it from moving.
