Recommended Uses: Our 4' x 6' Premium Rubber Mats have demonstrated their versatility in a wide range of commercial and residential settings. These vulcanized rubber mats are an excellent choice for workouts with free weights, as stall mats, dog kennel mats, garage mats, and anywhere a non-slip, impact resistant, insulating, and noise reducing rubber flooring would be beneficial. Care and Maintenance Document

Vacuum or sweep any loose dust, dirt, or debris from the rubber flooring surface when necessary. Occasional damp mopping of the mats with a mild soap and water mixture. Some soaps commonly used include Dawn dish detergent and/or Tide laundry detergent.

Note: Do not use any solvent or oil style cleaners such as Pinesol, Lysol, Murphy’s Oil Soap, WD40, paint thinner, etc. since these types of cleaners will break down rubber flooring over time.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats are non-slip. Due to the weight of the mat and it being made of rubber allows it to stay in place for most exercises. In very extreme cases would the mat move.

Our 4' x 6' Premium mats are a vulcanized mat while our Extreme Mats are not. Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats are some of our strongest mats and are virtually trued mats meaning you can put multiple mats together to create a flooring surface. Our Extreme Mat is not trued, so they are not all the same size and are not finished on the bottom. Because they are not finished on the bottom, you will have thickness variances with these mats. This will make it difficult to put these tiles together as a flooring surface. Both are great for CrossFit exercises and would be great as stand-alone mats. The Premium Mats would be the number one choice for a full floor. Quality wise the Premium Mats are the better choice as they are stronger and have less of a smell compared to the Extreme Mats.

The top of our 4' x 6' Premium Mats is shinier than the bottom of the mat. You can use either side as the top surface, but the true top is the shinier side.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats are water resistant not waterproof. These mats will fade in direct sunlight, but other than that they will hold up just fine outdoors.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats will lay flat no matter how flat the subfloor is. The flatter the subfloor the flatter your flooring will be. These mats are constructed to not curl at the edges and corners.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats can be installed over residential carpet. If you are installing multiple mats over a high pile carpet, due to depression of the pad under the carpet, there is potential for a trip hazard to form.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats are non-porous, thus are the most liquid resistant product we carry. There would be no need for an added sealant for this mat.

You can place our 4' x 6' Premium Mats over a concrete floor or any other flat, solid surface.

Our Premium Mats typically do not stain carpet. If you do have a light colored carpet and are worried about the mats staining the carpet, we recommend laying a plastic sheet between the mats and carpet to ensure no staining occurs.

So why you may want to choose the thicker Premium Mat is due to a few things. If you are matching up to another floor, you may want to use the thicker mat as not to have to add a transition piece. Another reason to go with a thicker mat is to help reduce noise transmission between floors. The thicker the mat, the more sound transmission it can mitigate. The last reason a person would go with the thicker mat is to add some protection for their subfloor, especially if the subfloor is plywood. ...

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats are made from rubber which is more slip resistant when wet. So using these mats as flooring in an aquatic center would be the perfect fit. They are non-porous so you will not have to worry about any salts getting in the floor and that also makes them very easy to clean and maintain.

The main difference between our 4' x 6' Premium Mats and our 4' x 6' Mega Mats is the thickness. Our Premium Mats are 3/8" thick whereas our Premium Mega Mats are a 1/2" thick. Both mats are non-porous and are vulcanized. They are both cut straight, so you can easily butt a few mats together to create a flooring surface. The only other difference is that the Premium Mats have a smooth surface whereas the Premium Mega Mats have a textured surface.

Our Premium Mats are a vulcanized mat, so they can be installed virtually anywhere, so they can be installed in a locker room with a shower and toilet. Since these rubber mats are vulcanized, they are non-porous, meaning the will not harbor any mold, mildew, or fungal growth. They are also very easy to clean and maintain and are very easy to sanitize. With these mats being vulcanized, they are much more durable than standard rubber flooring and would be able to handle baseball cleats on them...

There are a few differences between these two mats. First, the obvious difference is the thickness. Our Premium mats come in either an 8mm thickness or a 3/8" thickness. Our Premium Mats are vulcanized, which means they are non-porous, whereas our Extreme Mats are not. Our Extreme mats are not finished on the bottom and are not trued as well. This means, if you are installing these mats as a full floor, you will want to make sure that you install them in a brick pattern to minimize the imperfections of the flooring. Both are great for moderate weight lifting and will help protect your subfloor. Even though our Premium Mats are thinner, they are still just as durable or more durable due to the fact that they are vulcanized.

There are many differences between the Premium Mats and the Premium Extreme Mats. One of the first differences is the thickness, the Premium Mats are 8mm and 3/8" thick, whereas, the Premium Extreme Mats are 3/4" thick. The surface of the Premium mats is smooth, whereas, the Premium Extreme Mats have a textured top. The last difference is the size of the mats. The Premium Extreme Mats are a bit smaller than 4' x 6' at 47" x 71", whereas, the Premium Mats are 4' x 6'.

To connect multiple Premium Mats together, we recommend using our Double Sided Carpet Tape. You would place this tape around the edge of the mats and along the seams, and it will attach the mats to your subfloor.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats would help to protect your laminate flooring from denting and cracking when weights are dropped. These mats are vulcanized, which means they are the toughest rubber mat we offer.

You can adhere our 4' x 6' Premium Mats with double sided tape or with adhesive. For permanent installations we recommend adhesive, and for temporary installations, we recommend double-sided tape. There are two ways to install these mats in a full room. You can lay them in a brick pattern or a monolithic pattern.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats do roll up easily so that you can quickly install them and put them away when not in use.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats can be cut with a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. These mats are re-vulcanized, so we recommend first scoring the mat, and then cutting through the mat layer by layer.

You can install our 4' x 6' Premium Mats over a wood subfloor on a second floor. These mats are vulcanized and are very shock absorbent. Sound may still transfer from floor to floor, but it will be greatly minimized.

You can install our Premium Mats over carpet. Our rubber mats are very durable and are commonly used in commercial gyms. With these being vulcanized, which is the strongest version of rubber flooring, your rubber flooring will not buckle under the weight of the table. You can use a rolling desk chair on our 4' x 6' Premium mats. These mats are smooth and sturdy and will allow a desk chair to roll around easily.

If you install our 4' x 6' Premium Mats in a garage you can drive a car over them. These mats are very durable and can handle the weight of a car on them without getting destroyed. The only thing you would have to worry about with these rubber mats is that if your car were to leak oil at all, the mats would start to break down over time. To prevent this, you can use one our Nitro Roll Mats or a containment mat to prevent oil from destroying the mats.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats are thick enough to cushion your knees when doing burpees. Since these mats are vulcanized, they may not be the most comfortable choice, but they will work for this activity. If you are wanting something with a little more cushion, our Impact Mats would the mat we would recommend.

Since our 4' x 6' Premium Mats are vulcanized, you can definitely do Olympic lifts on them without worrying about damaging your subfloor.

Our Premium Mats are a trued-mat meaning the can be installed next to each other and appear as seamless as a rubber roll.

You don't have to glue our 4' x 6' Premium Mats. These mats can be loose laid. If you wanted to glue them, we recommend using a polyurethane adhesive.

You can connect several Premium Mats together. When installing multiple rubber mats next to each other, you can use double-sided tape under the mats or you can use our Seam Sealer glue between the mats. We don't have a video showing this process specifically, but you can watch our rubber rolls install video, and it will show you how to connect multiple straight cut items together to create a virtually seamless floor.

If you want to glue down our Premium Mats, we recommend using a polyurethane adhesive. You can also glue the mats together with our Seam Sealer glue.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats can be installed over low pile carpet with ease. There is no need to add plywood. The mats usually won't slide, but depending on the types of exercises performed, could. To prevent this, we recommend adding a little double-sided tape under the mats.

Our 4" Mat Tape will stick to our Premium Mats, but not very well. If you want to connect two mats together, we would recommend using our Double Sided Carpet Tape. You would just place this tape over the seam of two mats to keep them together. You can choose to allow the tape to stick to both the subfloor and mats or just the mats.

Our Premium Mats have less of an odor compared to most horse stall mats in the market. These mats are vulcanized and are made with premium rubber to ensure that the smell of the mats is almost non-existent. If you are sensitive to smells, we recommend mopping the mats with mild soap and water solution with a synthetic mop head. The wheels on an Ab Dolly or any other fitness equipment will roll easily over our Premium Mats. These mats are vulcanized, making them super dense.

Our 4' x 6' Premium Mats can be used for aerobics, light-weight workouts, and can be used under bikes and treadmills. For aerobic exercises, our Premium Mats may not be the best mats for this as they are harder underfoot than some of our other mats. If you are looking for mat that is a little more forgiving, we would recommend purchasing our 3/8" Impact Mats.

If your Premium Mats are moving while in use, we recommend using our Double Sided Carpet Tape under the mats. You can choose to use both sides of the tape or just one side. Our tape has been formulated to work excellently with our rubber flooring.

You can install our 4' x 6' Premium Mats over a hardwood floor without damaging or staining it. If you were concerned with the mats damaging the flooring, we recommend placing a plastic sheet under the mats to add further protection. If you are concerned about water getting under the mats, the plastic sheet will help protect the flooring and ensure water doesn't get trapped between the mats the floor. You can use our 4' x 6' Premium Mats as flooring in a repair service center. These mats are vulcanized mats, meaning they are non-porous, making them very easy to clean and maintain. Since they are vulcanized, they may not be the most comfortable to stand on for long periods of time, but they are durable enough to handle rolling chairs, desks, and the like.
