Was this helpful? Can this dance vinyl be used over the top of Cheer Mats?
Our VersaStep Dance Floor Package with Subfloor can be used over Cheer Mats. We would recommend placing 1/4" plywood over the Cheer mats to create a more stable subfloor and then placing our VersaStep Dance Floor Package with Subfloor over that.
Was this helpful? Can this be placed over concrete?
Our VersaStep Dance Floor Package with Subfloor can be installed over any hard flat surface such as concrete, plywood, OSB, etc. You can also install this over commercial carpet with ease. If installing over plush carpet or carpet with a thick pad, we recommend placing a 1/4" plywood board over the carpet to prevent injury while using the surface.
Was this helpful? Can this floor be used with flamenco shoes? Sound is not a concern (i need it to absorb sound for the neighbors) But i wanted to know if it is durable enough for the nails. Thanks, Julie
For Flamenco dance styles, we would recommend a hard subfloor surface (like our Flat Top Dance Tiles) underneath the dance rolls.
Was this helpful? Is this a good option to install on concrete for ballet, tap and jazz?
Yes this package can be used over concrete but it may not be the best for pointe. You also may not get the ideal sound or support for tap. We recommend using some hard plastic tiles over top the foam tiles.
