How much floor will a 4-gallon bucket cover?
It depends on the floor and the trowel. As adhesive only, one gallon covers about 50 square feet under engineered wood up to 1/2 inch. That is about 200 square feet per bucket. Solid wood and plywood take more glue, at 30 to 40 square feet per gallon. Used as the full 4-in-1 system, one gallon covers 30 to 35 square feet, or 120 to 140 square feet per bucket. The installation chart lists the rate for every floor type.

It is made for wood floors: solid wood, engineered wood, bamboo and parquet. The installation chart also covers non-porous recycled rubber. Trowel size changes with the floor. Parquet takes a 1/8 inch square notch. Recycled rubber takes a 1/16 inch square notch. Large format solid wood in the 4-in-1 system takes a 1/2 inch by 15/32 inch V-notch. Match the trowel to the row for your floor.
Was this helpful?Do I need to moisture-test the subfloor first?
No. The manufacturer says this adhesive removes that step. It is a 4-in-1 product: the glue, a moisture vapor barrier, a sound reduction layer and a crack-bridging membrane. The moisture warranty has conditions. You have to install it as the full 4-in-1 system. That means the heavier 4-in-1 trowel rates and 100% coverage of the subfloor.
Was this helpful? Is SikaBond-T100 the same product as DriTac 7800 Supreme Green?
Yes. DriTac 7800 Supreme Green is now sold as SikaBond-T100. The formula was updated, and it is the same professional-grade hybrid polymer adhesive. The bucket design may vary. You will get the SikaBond 4-gallon formula either way.
Was this helpful? Is SikaBond-T100 low VOC?
Yes. It is CRI Green Label Plus certified, a program that tests products for very low VOC emissions. It also meets LEED v4.1 requirements for low-emitting material credits. It is used in homes and in commercial interiors.
Was this helpful? How do I clean up adhesive that gets on the floor?
Wipe wet adhesive up right away with a wet cloth. For adhesive that has already dried, roll a tennis ball over it. The residue sticks to the ball and lifts off. Between jobs, store the bucket in a cool, dry place. Keep the lid sealed tight so the adhesive does not dry out.
