Can the Pro Putt Premium product withstand the harsh winters of New England or do other provisions need to be made?
Our Pro Putt Premium Turf Rolls will withstand winters.
Was this helpful?Hi, can this be installed indoors? If so, does it still need the infill and can you tape the seams in this case? Is it also possible to get samples of the 3 different putting green options?
Our Pro Putt Premium Turf Rolls can be used both indoors and outdoors. Regardless, we would still recommend an infill because it will help the ball roll better. We would recommend ordering samples by clicking "Order Free Samples" right on the product page.
Was this helpful?I'm having a pool house put in with a flat rubber roof. Could this just be laid down on it and attached, or do you have to have sand, etc.? Also, the roof is very slightly sloped; I assume this wouldn't affect the drainage?
You can install our Pro Putt Premium Turf Rolls over a flat rubber roof. To keep it in place, you will want to glue the turf down so that it doesn't fly away in a storm. You can add infill to the turf like you would on the ground. The infill will aid in making the ball roll the way you would like it to. The slope of the roof doesn't really affect the turf at all. The main concern is to ensure that the turf does not impede the natural drainage of the roof. As most of our turf allows for proper drainage no matter where they are installed, there would be no concerns with drainage and the turf install.
Was this helpful?do you know the average stimp speed?
Like all artificial, or real for that matter, the stimp reading will vary with installation. The range will be between 9 to 11. You can speed it up by adding more putting green infill and rolling with a water roller. Depending upon the desired speed, you may also want to slow down the surface by using a power broom to "open up the fibers".
Was this helpful? Can this Pro Putt Premium Turf mat be putted over a stone patio? Is it going to impact the practice result?
Yes, you can certainly roll out the turf on the stone patio, but please note that the turf will take the form of the patio. If the stone patio is not smooth the ball will not roll smooth.
Was this helpful?Hello looking to purchase a roll of putting green turf about 15x45, 15x50. What is the difference between the premium and the pro putt turf. Which one would you recommend.
They're both great products and are popular amongst our customers. The major difference is their thicknesses and face weight. The Pro Putt Premium is thicker and has a higher face weight than the Pro Putt. If you're looking for a rougher game, go with the Premium.
Was this helpful? With the 15 by 25 can that include fringe and is that extra prize..?

16/30 will work fine.
Was this helpful? Are there any durability differences between the Putting green Turf Rolls vs the Pro Putt Premium? I live in an area that has both high intensity sunlight (6,500' altitude) and relatively harsh winters. (occasional subzero temps and many feet of snowfall). Which will hold up better and still roll fairly fast?
They're both durable, great for any weather, and come with a 15-year warranty. the only difference is the face weight.
Was this helpful?Assuming the turf has an appropriate base/foundation, can it handle approach shots without being damaged? If so, up to how many yards?
Approach shots will not harm the turf at all, but the ball will often bounce high in the air giving an unnatural ball reaction.
Was this helpful? Can a vehicle be parked on the turf for any length of time without the mat being damaged?
Yes, you can park a car on our Pro Putt Premium Turf Rolls without damaging it. The blades will be bent after the car is removed and can be put back in their upright state by simpling brushing the turf, you may also use our turf rake for this purpose.
