• Q: Does the rubber bottom provide any cushion or spring when installed on concrete? Or would i need to put down a foam or other thick type underlayment?

• Q: Are these easy to take apart and re assemble? We would need to store it under the couch and wouldn’t be able to leave it up full time.

  A: These can be used outdoors for events. If using these tiles outdoors they are meant as a temporary flooring as the vinyl surface may fade in the sunlight over time and the adhesive may possibly heat up, causing movement of the wood look surface.

• Q: Is the dance floor kit ok for ballet pointe work?

  A: These tiles can be used for pointe but please be aware there are minimal seams between each tile.

• Q: I would use this floor to do a ballet barre. I need some traction. Would this floor provide better than my wood floors (I am spilling a bit of water on wood for traction).

  A: Our Dance Floor Kits have been used ballet, we also have several marley rolls that would provide great traction specifically for ballet.

• Q: Would this work with a home pole set up? Or would the pressure of the pole be too much compressed on top of it?

  A: Yes, we have had many customers use these tiles for pole dancing without any issues that we are aware of.

• Q: I want to install the flooring on top of hardwood floors in my living room because I don’t want my original floors to be damaged by tap dancing. Will this temp floor damage existing hardwood floors?

  A: We would recommend putting some type of protection down when using this product as to not possibly damage your wood floors.

  A: You can but keep in mind the tiles are not seamless.

• Q: I currently have luxury vinyl flooring in my bedroom. I understand that I must first put protection down when using this product as to not possibly damage my vinyl floors. What exact specific protection do you recommend I first place on top of my luxury vinyl floor before assembling the portable dance floor on top of the protection?

  A: You can use our foam dance subfloor tiles to protect the floor as well as add some acoustic value to your space.

• Q: If I am not worried about color fade, will the dance floor kits work outside for 4-6 months at a time?

  A: The only issue would be that since the wood surface is a vinyl print layer, it's possible that the adhesive could overheat in the sun and cause the vinyl layer to move around or detach from the base of the tiles. You can apply further adhesive as need be to keep the wood print layer down.

• Q: Hi, I attend an all women’s heels dance class and due to the COVID-19 we can’t meet but are doing online classes. Could I use my heels on this flooring? Thanks!

  A: Yes this product would be suitable for hard / heeled shoes.

• Q: Can this dance floor kit be placed on top of a carpeted floor in the basement? My daughter needs this for home dance especially with virtual classes now due to COVID-19

  A: These tiles can be installed over carpet with a sturdy, flat subfloor like a sheet of plywood or our dance subfloor tiles in between the carpet and the tiles.
