Was this helpful? We just installed the Coreteck waterproof vinyl planks at front entrance and kitchen. I live in Canada and want to put a mat at the front door. I see that you say that mat cannot have a rubber backing. Why is that? I can't find a mat without a rubber back. I need to put a mat at front door to protect it from mud, snow, etc.
We do not recommend using rubber-backed mats since these can stain or discolor any vinyl flooring over time. It is best to use nonstaining vinyl-backed mats or woven rugs that are colorfast.
