ProDesign Drainage Tiles can be easily maintained and cleaned. To care for your tiles you should regularly clean any dirt off of the surface. Additionally you can hose down these court tiles to remove dirt and debris.

ProDesign Drainage Tiles easily snap together to create unique designs of your choosing. Installation of these floor tiles typically includes:
  1. Clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material.
  2. When installing the Outdoor Sports tiles, we recommend starting in one corner of the room and working your way out from there.
  3. If your flooring is going up to a wall, make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall.
  4. After placing the tiles in a perpendicular pattern, fill the rest of the area with whole tiles to your predetermined size and design.
  5. When you come up to an edge, wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a tile cutter, or table saw.
  6. When trimming the tiles into place, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the outside of the court or near a while to allow for expansion and contraction of the floor.
  7. Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces, if you purchased them.
Note: Even though our ProDesign Drainage Tiles are made from the same rigid plastic as our standard garage tiles, we do not recommend daily driving of a vehicle over them. If a vehicle must drive over the court on a daily basis, we recommend the use of our Vented Grid-Loc Tiles.Vented Grid-Loc tiles in the area where the vehicle will cross.

Are the drainage tiles strong enough for my horse to stand on?
Sarah M
Yes, our ProDesign Drainage Tiles are strong enough to support the weight of a horse. These are also strong enough to support the weight of a mid-sized sedan.
Can this be used for playing basketball?
Yes, we have had many customers successfully use our ProDesign Drainage Tiles for a court application.
Can these tiles be cut down?
Yes, our ProDesign Drainage Tiles can be cut with a tile cutter or even with a utility knife and some elbow grease. When using a utility knife, it's best to score before making the full cut.
Can I use the tiles on the dirt on a patio? Also, Is it dog friendly?
Yes, our ProDesign Drainage Tiles can be put over dirt so long as it is a flat surface. This product is also safe and approved for pets.
Can I install this over my wooded deck? Paint is peeling so I want to hide the eyesore.
Yes, our ProDesign Drainage Tiles will be a great solution for your application.
How is this to walk on? We have an outside cement porch we have to paint every other year. This might be a good solution to end that, but we have kids who go out there barefoot all the time. As well as small dogs. Would this hurt bare feet or small animals?
Our ProDesign Drainage Tiles are comfortable underfoot and are also slip-resistant. These tiles will get warm in direct sunlight but will be cooler than concrete.

This is Coki, our cat, with her litter box behind her. The flooring traps all of the kitty litter so none of it gets past this room! Any cat owner can appreciate that!

I laid my tile over the mat with spacers and locked it in on all sides. No cement , no grout, no added weight, and it was down in 9 hrs including dinner breaks and all cuts.
