HotShot Hockey Floor Tiles are easy to maintain. Cleaning of these multiuse tiles typically includes:
  • Vacuuming or sweeping any loose crumbs, dust, or debris from the court tiles when necessary.
  • Hose off or damp mop the sport floor tiles with a mild soap and water mixture for tough or caked on dirt and/or stains.

HotShot Hockey Tiles are easy to install. Installation of these floor tiles typically includes:
  • Clean your sub floor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material.
  • When installing the HotShot tiles, we recommend starting in one corner of the room and working your way out from there.
  • If your flooring is going up to a wall, make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall.
  • After placing the tiles in a perpendicular pattern, proceed to fill the rest of the area with whole tiles to your predetermined size and design.
  • When you come up to a edge, wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a sharp utility, tile cutter, or table saw.
  • When trimming the tiles into place, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the outside of the court or near a while to allow for expansion and contraction of the floor.
  • Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces, if you purchased them.

Game Line Application:
  • Make sure when applying painted game lines that you use painters tape or 3M 2060 tape to outline the lines that need to be painted. For painted game lines, you will want to use a two part polyurethane paint.

Don't see what you're looking for?
Can you drive and park on these with your vehicle? We would be putting them in the garage and we'd rather not take it apart constantly. Thanks.
Our HotShot Hockey Floor Tiles are a hard plastic polypropylene tile able to handle the weight of a car.
I bought the hockey tiles. Do you suggest using a rubber hammer to lock the tiles together?
Our HotShot Hockey Floor Tiles do not need a rubber hammer to interlock them. Just simply step on the tiles at the locking mechanism and they will lock together. You can use a rubber hammer if you like, but it is not necessary and a lot more fun to stomp on the floor.
Can these HotShot Hockey Floor tiles be used for roller skating with regular indoor roller skates or would they be too slippery?
Our HotShot Hockey Floor Tiles were actually made to be used with regular indoor roller skates or rollerblades. These tiles would not be too slippery for either.
Can these tiles be left outside year round? Will they hold up to rain and snow?
Our HotShot Hockey Floor Tiles were designed to be used indoors only.
What type of finish do these tiles have? Are they shiny or matte?
Our HotShot Hockey Floor Tiles have a semi-matte finish.

I like these tiles, they seem well made and solid, go together easily, and have been holding up real well so far. They are great for practicing shooting, but they aren't quite as slick as I would like. You can use a real puck for stick handling, but it won't quite slide right. I bought a green biscuit to use for stick handling, and that is much more realistic. So overall, very good, great if your primary use is as a shooting surface, only ok for stick handling, unless you get a specific stick handling puck. Have a six foot by six foot sheet in my basement currently, and will likely buy more to expand it at a later date.

black pucks, blue pucks, green biscuits all slide smoothly on the surface. Stick-to-stick passes travel at least 12 feet without much strength (a 4 year-old is one of the passers).
