Description - Treadmill mats are an ideal mat to use under exercise equipment. They are lightweight, portable, yet highly durable. Treadmill mats are designed to protect sub floors and reduce sound transmission through the floor.
Material – Treadmill mats are constructed of a highly durable composite recycled rubber and plastic called tireplast.
Size – 3’ x 6.5’
Thickness – 1/4 Inch
Weight – 24 Lbs. / mat
Recommended Uses – Our treadmill mats were originally designed for use under treadmills but have been used successfully under a variety of exercise machines including stair steppers, elliptical machines, and rowing machines.

  • A treadmill mat can be cleaned quickly and easily.
  • If the mats get something spilled on them or appear dirty, all that is needed to clean them is to do a quick wipe of the mat with a damp cloth and your fitness mat will look like new.

Our 1/4" Treadmill Mats will not cause any staining when placed over carpet. If you do have a light colored carpet and are concerned that there might be a chance of staining, we recommend the use of a plastic sheet underneath the mat.

I am very pleased with the treadmill mat. Thick, sturdy, and the perfect size for my NordicTrack treadmill. Other reviews noted strong odor and my experience is that the odor (to be expected with this type of product) dissipated quite quickly. Highly recommend this mat!
  Smelly Start

The mat is clearly heavy and tough rubber, judging just from the weight. Unfortunately, it initially had a very strong rubber odor that my wife could not stand. We put it in the spare/execise room for about 2 weeks and the odor has now dissipated. We may be order another for 2nd piece of execise eqpt that just arrived.

I wish this mat didn't have such a horrible odor. I tried airing it out on my deck for a week. Even after this I brought it back in and it smells awful- almost like stale cigarettes. So out on the deck it goes until it doesn't stink. Other than that it seems like a nice thick mat that will protect the floor from the treadmill.
